Posted February 3, 20241 yr 5th year senior transferred to Louisville from Wisconsin. 6'0'' 220lbs Very well rounded RB. The type of player youd love to replace Boston Scott or even Gainwell with. Guerendo has a lot of KR experience at Wisconsin. As a RB he is a very smooth pass catcher which you almost dont expect from RBs his size. He does run with good strength. Doesnt seem to break a ton of tackles, but does deliver a blow to tacklers and gains tough yards. Despite his size, he is a really smooth runner. He glides like skinnier 3rd down backs and WRs do when he runs, and makes smooth slippery cuts in the open field. Late round master of all trades type of player who can contribute on offense and special teams.
February 4, 20241 yr He used to be a wr that’s why he looks so comfortable catching passes and running routes. He was in college for 5 years but never was the bell cow so he’ll come into the league fresh. supposedly he has "4.3 speed”? Not sure I ever saw it though.
February 5, 20241 yr Saw that he was highlighted by Brett Kollman - if we can get out of shotgun/mesh RPO handoffs we might be able to make some these bigger guys work.

Interestingly, Kollman said outside zone is one oh his bread and butter plays so Guerrendo is a direct fit in this offense. He also highlighted my guy Mohamed Kamara. That was a really good vid. That SDSU OT looks like someone for us since it doesnt make a lot of sense to take OTs in the end of the 1st round when you have Stout who can mold a 3rd rounder in to an all pro. And he specifically mentioned some guy in his honorable mention section as someone he would love to go to Stoutland University. I have to go back to that video and check more out. The CB seemed like a real player too.

Look at that 70+ yarder in the video .. yeah that's 4.3/4.4 speed. He was out.
