Drunk Howie is back.

Was hoping we could keep him

Didn't expect a 2026 pick. I didn't think we'd get anything of value this year for sure but I was hoping for something next year. Guess it'll be nice to possibly have an extra 2nd in 2 years.

So, we just swapped pass rushers with the Jets. Meh.

Maybe this was need to extend DeVonte and/or sign someone like Justin Simmons

So we essentially traded Reddick for Huff and a 2026 2nd or 3rd.

Good luck to him  will always be remembered for the epic 49ers beatdown

Nolan Smith better be ready. Big shoes to fill.

Except Huff is 4 years younger and the Eagles also get at least a 3rd, very possibly a 2nd, and the Jets are picking up most of Reddick's guaranteed salary.  Not to mention the Eagles clear even more cap space.

All in all, a good trade.

AND saved $16 million on the cap

Ok Howie, thanks for the input

Ugh.  First, the board is down and in the darkness our best defensive player leaves.  Time for a beverage.

these morons on the radio, i cant understand why howie made this trade like what made you think reddick was staying here? even the reports coming out, that it wasnt good by both sides, that's why they signed huff and they want howie to pay over 25 million to satisfy their egos, they are crazy, this is football not charity. if you pay reddick that money, he gets hurt again  you stuck with it and makes it alot harder to fix the roster when you have that cap hit. it was writing on the wall.

I've been drinking since 2 pm. 😎

Going to miss him. Solid production we'd been missing until he showed up.

Time to see what Nolan Smith is really made of.

And we kept Sweat instead who gets to the QB against backups.  Say it ain't so.

WTF, you trade him for a draft 2 years away?

As I've always said, Howie is the problem.

How is it we save $16M??  According to OTC we only save $1.3M and take on a dead money hit to the 2024 cap of $20.5M.

Boo!!!!!!!

F this two year crap. If you want him, you pay now!

They already have a good amount of picks this year.  From a cap management perspective its good to spread them out otherwise contracts all land together.  Let's see what the rest of the offseason looks like but its an OK trade if Reddick wasn't going to budge on money so be it.
