February 23, 20242 yr I saw that and another report from DGunn stating the collapse was due to (1) Hurts being too distracted with activities outside of football due to the big money extension he just signed and (2) Big Dom was not on the sideline to keep Sirianni in check "emotionally". I didn't post them as it all seems like there is strong likelihood it is all nonsense.
February 23, 20242 yr Author If there is something it will eventually come out. If there is anything to the report it seems Jalen is the most likely the person. Going 10-1 and then looking like the worst team in the league every week is not normal. It seems it was likely more than just coaching for the team to completely fall apart.

February 23, 20242 yr Look the reports may be dull. It may all be a load of rubbish. But the fact that these things are apparently leaking or people are talking is an issue. The stories are bull but that they are leaking needs to be looked at.

I take it with a grain of salt but after this collapse I don't discount things too easily. I, like many, thought things each week would change but in reality they went down the toilet further each week. 2022 most talented roster, 2023 though week 10 number 1 or 2 in power rankings. Last 6 games and 1 playoff game and looking overmatched against some trash teams and destroyed by quality teams and some not so good teams.

I agree something happened for this team to nose dive like it did. That may have been a division between players. That may have been one player sleeping with another players wife. That may have been the players losing faith with the coaches. We don’t know and we may never know. But we know something happened.

A predictable offense with garbage play calling, and a horrendous DC (Patricia) is what happened. As the season went on the playcalls became more and more predictable because there was no creativity. Then the defense completely collapsed when that moron Patricia took over. They weren't a great defense under Desai by any means, but they were far, far worse after he was removed.

February 24, 20242 yr One thing's for sure, they can't and shouldn't trade and rebuild the team every time somebody is having an issue with somebody else. These players need to grow up, and it's starts with the coach, the gm, and ownership. It's also time to let some of the older players walk. If the coaches can't mentor, and the younger players aren't selling as many jerseys, the problem lies elsewhere but it's no reason to keep players who are slowing down.

Why was he not fired and how many BJs did it take to keep his job for one year. LOL 2) Looking over the new coaching staff there is the new coaches that came with the new DCs...and then there are some coaches from Before. Without examining every one of the remaining coaches..(Special teams coach deserved to stay) .Does anyone also questions how this split will work out at meetings??? Not so much on defense..because defense is Fangio's baby. But on offense. When Moore says that they are going to do things his way..and the Siri has his supporters ..we will have a division between the coaches as well..Maybe. We will see how it works out..but I do not see a fresh start just yet. I see a wounded team with whole lot of band aids applied. I am worried that the next year will be a continuation of the second half of last year.
