But it would be nice to have the same stable of RBs together for a few years and not have them change every year. I am perfectly fine with RBBC. But Corners and safeties, as well as LBs require more permanence. We need to address all of these positions in the draft.
March 11, 20241 yr Guess the Eagles will sign another higher priced rb from the market or trust Gainwell to be a three down back. Things aren’t looking great so far this offseason losing Swift, Kelce, and Cox.

March 11, 20241 yr Not pleased about losing D’Andre. He was one of the few players who gave a damn even though he was criminally underutilized.

Justin Simmons and CJGJ will be strong targets as well. One of those 3 guys will be in Philly soon...and I'm calling that a lock. The may also double-dip at the S position...if so, I can see the 2nd guy being someone like Chinn. I can take or leave Barkley....would depend on the contract, but as for the player, I still think he can produce well enough for at least another year or 2. I'd be good with bringing in Jon Runyan Jr. I imagine G will be lower on the FA priority list if they feel Steen will be ready. If they do sign a G like Runyan, that likely means they don't have faith in Steen at RG. Ultimately, I hope we come out of FA with a S, LB and slot WR...all 3 of decent quality that will be notable additions. 10 year deal to someone else please, 10 year deal to someone else please, 10 year deal to someone else please. 10 year deal to someone else please.

I don't like it either. Another problem is Swift set the RB market. The Eagles get nobody good if they go the usual cheap RB route and are only willing to pay $2-4M.

March 14, 20241 yr So far the free agency has been a bit more than I expected, but none of the moves they have made are without some concerns. Some guys haven’t been full time players so it remains to be seen how they respond when they’re forced to be in that position. Others have had some injury issues in the past. This is a lot of change over considering the new pieces and the retirement of key veterans and the wholesale changes to the coaching staff. It’s a lot to ask to come together considering Sirianni is in a lame duck year.
March 15, 20241 yr We sure got younger even before the draft: Huff - 25 CJGJ - 26 White - 26 Hennesy - 26 Barkley - 27 Baun - 27 Ok and Parker is 31. That actually felt like not the best signing to me but whatever.

More likely somewhere in between.
