I really don't see us trading up for a CB. Shoot we haven't even used a 1st on a CB in 22 years. It seems much more Howie's MO to trade up for DL (or QB but obviously we're not in the market for one currently).

In another world, Pitt takes Arnold and Howie gets his man in Mims.

In this scenario, trading up when Wiggins, and Latu are there for our pick at 22? Heck no.

If it took a couple 5s to secure Verse, I’d be down. He’s a clean prospect that offers scheme versatility.

Arnold is on the same tier for me as Dejean/Wiggins so that is the one position I wouldn’t be in a rush to tradeup for in this scenario.

Murphy might be worth it, but if we aren’t playing a pure 1-gap scheme it would seem like it would be waste of his potential or at least a risk. Christian Wilkins was productive under Fangio this past season but he was always stout against run, has been in the league for awhile and was in a contract year.

The OL prospects are intriguing but going there in the 1st feels like the payoff for a very strong effort in free agency to firm up the defense… we will see shortly.
