For the QB with the worst ever attempts to touchdown ratio for QB's over 500 pass attempts since records began?

This is a crap trade, for a bad QB, who isn't going to play enough to even be a reclamation project.

I would genuinely rather they'd traded for Zach '80's lesbian tennis player' Wilson than this tiny handed clown.

The dumbsheet got took.

But why?

It is an upgrade on Mariota in my eyes. Mariota was one of the worst back-up QB's in the league. I think Pickett could keep us in games in Hurts misses any time, which can happen with his style of QB play.

Yes, as do the vast majority of backup QBs and some of the 32 starting QBs. You guys need to get it out of your heads that a backup is expected to be another Foles. He's a better option than any backup they've had since Nick other than maybe Minshew, though he also sucked in 2022.

If we traded both 7th rounders for next year, does that mean we only have 3 picks total in 2025? Our 1st, 2nd & 3rd rounders?

Whoa. Didn't see this one coming, not at all.

If it fits right for the $, cool.

Kinda surprised the Steelers gave up on him that quickly. Hmmmmmm...

Welp.

Don't hate it

Yes - former first round pick and he’s got two cheap hears left to prove himself and then we can keep him as a back-up or trade him in an AJ Feely type deal for a draft pick.

QB FaCtOrYzZzSzZsZ

So the Eagles go back 22 spots in the draft and give up two 2025 seventh round picks for a cheap backup the next two years, can’t really hate it.

Backups normally do

On top of sucking he throws **** fests and refuses to dress or ****es when Wilson signed. No thanks

Nick Foles completely skewed some people's perceptions of what a backup QB is.

Yeah, but you don't have to give up picks for them.

More like a pick swap

Definitely

Backup. QB. They barely gave up anything for a BACKUP QB.

Exactly. Frankly a 7th round pick does nothing for me, can trade a lower end of the roster player for a 6th/7th at any point. I just look at this move as moving back 22 spots in the middle of the draft for a backup QB with starting experience. I really have no clue how anyone thinks this is a bad move.

One that they can develop refine and maybe flip later. And cheap

He is a **** with small hands that refused to dress. F that. Not someone I'd want anywhere near that locker room.

I'm hoping the Eagles here will try to coach him up and get someone to trade a high pick for him.

That was my first thought - trade bait.

2 Million this year and 2.6 next on the cap.. is not much for a backup QB actually.

Needed a backup, but from what they’re saying on WIP he kind of has a bad attitude. We will see how it plays out.

A second for him would be nice Ala Feely and Kolb. I like this deal.

A bit of an overreaction there lol

It isn't though, if they were desperate for a back up they could've taken Trubisky, Bridgewater or Brissett for not much more money and dropped no picks. Hell even if Howie was dead set on this clown, they could've just waited for Pittsburgh to cut him.

It's only a smart move if you pick up someone for less than he's worth, after the Wilson signing, Pickett is worth a freezer full of ice creams and a new set of team jerseys. He adds nothing to the QB room.
