Don’t know that I am sold on Theo Johnson. It’s very hard to translate TE’s that come from a spread offense in college and a very limited route tree. He really struggles to block well, which is a requisite trait for a TE at the next level. Next years TE class has the potential to be much deeper than this class. You’ve got Loveland, Delp and Taylor that are all likely declaring (depending on injury and performance) and there are another 5 or 6 that are poised for breakout seasons. Obviously a bit early to predict, but IMO next year would be a potentially deeper draft to address TE.
