Apparently they're trying to say he was paying off his interpreter's gambling debt, but now they're trying to say that the interpreter stole the money.

So I guess we're just supposed to be believe Ohtani's interpreter had access to his bank account (with millions of dollars in it) and did all this without Ohtani knowing?
