Grier is familiar with the new OC system.  He can help the other QBs to learn the system.  He does not look likely to make the roster.  PS where he can be on hand for practices and help.  McKee is young and has more upside in his 2nd year.  Pickett has more tools to work with.  Both should be ahead on depth chart.

Upon first reading the name, the face that came to mind was "Grandpa Walton" (Will Geer).
