April 1, 20242 yr Trans day has been celebrated for the last 15 years without incident. I believe this is the first time it has fallen on Easter. The outrage is absurd. Why is Easter never on the same day? The holiday is based on the Moon. Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday after the Paschal full moon, which is the first full moon on or after March, 21. This is done to avoid being on the same day as Passover. It's just a coincidence that Trans day and Easter on the same day. If the pious and righteous crowd are so outraged then don't pay attention to Trans day. it has nothing to do with Easter at all.

But as president, personal religious observance is much less important to the evangelical and religious voters than policy. April 1, 20242 yr Author A few years back, I attended a conference where a writer from the Jerusalem Post spoke. The Post, FWIW, is a relatively centrist - liberal publication these days. The writer said something that resonated with the audience. People who are more observant in their religious practices - Christian and Jewish voters primarily - tend to vote Republican. People who are less observant with their religion, or athiestic or agnostic - tend to vote Democratic.
