Seems like a pass catching back reading the report. Other than Barkley and Kenny G they don't have a RB on the roster do they?

Interesting that they traded their pick to the Dolphins who took a back and then they took Shipley. Irving went off the board a couple picks later and the two picks after the Eagles pick were RB/RB by the Bills and 49'ers

Shipley has a very high ceiling. Love this as a back up.

I still don’t get why they haven’t grabbed a lb yet but I guess they needed another rb.

Wasn't he projected to go a lot higher? Weird that he is still available in the 5th round if that is the case

Howie doesn't draft LBs. Never has.

This. Dean was a rare exception. And I think the fact that he hasn't been able to get on the field much makes Howie even more hesitant to take LBs. I doubt we will take one. If we do it will be very late in the draft. 

Ok ok, I saw him play quite a few times on TV. Tough runner. Adds depth to a needed position. 

Gainwell is average at best

I wasn’t wowed with the pick at first and was just meh but after seeing him interviewed and hearing what others say about him it’s definitely growing on me. His answers were that of someone genuinely excited to be an Eagle. Seems like a great kid.

I like the fact that he had a 4.0 GPA.  He'll be our #2 back ahead of Gainwell.

Well hes fast can catch and can return so not bad value I guess🤷‍♂️

Love this pick. One of my favorite picks in this draft. Dude can do everything.

I hope he gets as many reps as Kenny G.

Without the injury history
