Inevitable, really. Glad we didn't jump too soon, hope he doesn't carry his father's legacy too heavily on his shoulders

Was huge fan of the Axe Man.

Welcome to Philly Jr.!

Well, it would have been smarter to get a bigger, all around LB who can help with run stopping but at least he can play when Dean is injured.

Finally a LB. Question is why did he fall so far? He was originally a late first/second round pick.

Man, Howie is absolutely amazing! Dude knows how to manipulate the draft.

:flex:

:groovy:

Give him a chance!!

Undersized. But we’ve had some luck with undersized guys

I’m okay with taking a chance on him in the 5th.  Always liked the Axeman so hopefully he’s as good if not better.

I'm posting it here, too. Destiny!!!

Undersized and not the best tackler. But playmaker, decent in coverage and good blitzer. He has a chance. Nice pick.

You're welcome

Can't be worse than the other clowns we had playing LB last year

Gotta love Howie doing fan service.

One thing about the Trotter family is they work. I don't think dad will let the kid get lazy.

Cool pick.

It was meant to be. F the haters!

Doesn't feel like this is as a deep draft as some other years.

Small, undersized like Dean.

Nothing wrong with a bit of fan service in the 5th Round

As a fan I love the pick

Welcome home Axeman Jr.

Will he wear #54?

Eagles got the sentimental fan favorite. I said he is too small, and still do... BUT- I have a spot in my heart for Axeman Jr, too. Hope he does well.

Was this just a sentimental/nostalgic pick?
