No idea, but Twitter seems to like him

So that’s 2 WRs taken today right?! Don’t know much about either to be honest but we needed options at WR so I’ll take it.

I know a bit about him cause of my Master of the Draft research.

Good pick, may convert to TE. 6 ft 7 and potentially a matchup nightmare

The dude is so tall, he doubles as a cellphone cell. Good in the redzone.

Big and slow.  Transition to TE coming

I know nothing about him, but the height and versatility to play TE or WR is interesting.

Jonny wilson the next Harold Carmichael💪😉

Red zone target?

I was about to say Harold Carmichael is the next Jonny Wilson :P

Momah

Blah. Camp body. Big, slow, bad blocker.

This is a big boy, hope they transition him to TE. He has great hands.

Really? On the espn broadcast they talked about an issue with drops

They said he is staying at WR

He’s a WR, and he’s not slow. He’s not fast  but he’s not slow. 4.5 forty and if you watch him he’s not some lumbering uncoordinated type of player.

What makes him intriguing is he’s the biggest WR to be drafted in over a decade, yet he has decent speed and agility.

I’m much more concerned with drops than speed. He’s faster than plenty of pro bowlers.

Our new marvin mcnutt

There's nothing wrong with giving a guy a shot. He'll have to really stand out to make this team, though. I think we'll once again keep only 5 WRs with 4 of them being Brown , D. Smith, A. Smith and Covey. Campbell is the only one in our room with game changing speed so he's probably in that group of 5.

Probably a blocking TE /Red Zone target.

Red zone target, definitely. TE — much less blocking TE — definitely not.

He’s a WR if he’s anything at the NFL level. Think a poor man’s Plaxico Burress. Line him up out wide near the sideline, isolate him vs a corner where he has an 8 inch height advantage, and toss it up high to him. He’s a huge jump ball receiver with long arms and good body control combined with solid athleticism given his size.

He’s not nearly physical enough to be a blocking TE, but he will obviously pose a challenge to CBs when he’s asked to block.

he has problem with drops to be NFL wide receiver. NFL is not a forgiving place. Let's just call him a long shot for now, until the end of training camp.

LOL.

He better not make the team.

I’ll be surprised if he makes the 53.  Thinking he’ll end up on the practice squad but let’s see what he does over the summer camps and PS games.

Yeah he’s a long shot for sure. Especially with Campbell, Parker, Ross and the other WR they drafted in the fifth. I guess if he flashes then he’s a prime PS player for the year.

I think if Smith makes the roster Covey doesn't, Covey is a solid return man but that's literally his sole role, Smith is a gadget player and a better pure slot receiver as well as being a decent college returner.
