Honestly … no loss.  I’d sooner see one of the younger WRs get those reps and roster spot.

Truly one of our greatest WRs ever.

His jersey can join Frank Gore and Myles Jack in the rafters.

Addition by subtraction?

Was an uphill battle for him to make the team. Best wishes. It was either retire or get cut after busting his hump all pre-season.

No loss

As WR3 I’d like young guys to get shot but as backup to WR 1/2 there is no depth at all. One of those potential issues you hope doesn’t come into play

He fits right in between those two. Gore was never Eagle, Jack turned up for a few practices. Parker was an Eagle but never showed up to the practice field

I think he attended one OTA.

What about LeCharles

Did we actually pay him anything?

He knew it wasn't looking good and said...nah

They'll likely keep Ngata on the practice squad that they can call up if Brown or Smith get injured (if he doesn't win a spot on the 53 that is).  Plus this likely increases the odds that Campbell makes the 53 - he can play inside or out.

Would be a bad situation for more than a game. Maybe they’ll see what they have at camp first

Not ideal for sure.  I was hoping we'd sign someone like Chark or Zay Jones to a 3 year deal ... someone proven at this level that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg and could be here for more than a year.

He must really like his kids.

I'd choose playing in the NFL over spending more time with my kids.

Joins the All Time list of Myles Jack and Frank Gore. Need one more for a Mt Rushmore

Or they could sign someone also? A third WR who is any good will give us a killer trio. between our RB, and TE, and WRs opposing defense will have a hard time covering.

Yep ... signing someone (or swinging a trade for a WR) is definitely an option as well (and if I had to guess the more likely route we go).

Michael Thomas incoming....
