I know this isn't really the section for this question, but the other sections don't seem to get much traffic...

This is not regarding any "On-Location" deals...

Does anyone recall during the time when we went to the Super Bowl that there being some kind of deal where you could put money down now for tickets, it would lock in a lower price, but if you cancelled (if the Eagles didn't make it) then you'd lose out on your money?  The earlier you put money down, the less it was.

I remember seeing something on Twitter (X, whatever) about it but I can't find it.  I know the NFL's On-Location experiences is offering something for locking in early bird prices, but that's not what I'm trying to find.  I'm fairly sure someone local to philly mentioned it back around January 2023, shortly before the SB that year.

I´ve no idea... but I´m pretty sure that if you put money down now on tickets for an Eagles SB visit, and they don´t make it, this entire board will curse you as a jinx

That'll be my secret!

Go re watch the last 5 games of last year and ask yourself if this is a good idea.

It's actually a great idea if you can secure tickets early, at worst you should be a le to sell them for a lot more.

^^^^^^

Exactly. Buy the tix now, sell them for more $ when the Eagles don't even make the playoffs. :rod:

Alright fellas, I know this team looked bad last year.  But in no way does that mean they'll be the same or worse this year.  My confidence level is actually higher this year because of last year.

What I saw, that I cannot find again, was some deal where you put money down on a SB ticket early...it was like a few hundred to start with and would get incrementally more expensive as the season went.  But, if you gambled and put money down early, it locked you into Face Value ticket price or something like that.  The money you put down was non-refundable though.

I am willing to put a few hundred down right now if that were to lock me into the non-inflated ticket prices for the SB.  I'd be willing to "lose" the few hundred if the Eagles didn't make it and I didn't go.  Obviously it's a gamble.  But, as things stand right now, I think the Eagles have a decent chance this year.  I am seriously considering making the trip to New Orleans if they go.

Team didn't change too much last year from the previous year. Biggest changes were OC and DC. You can give a carpenter the best tools, but if he don't know how to use them, he won't get the job done. Also Hurts was injured all season.

Bringing in Barkley only proves (hopefully) they realize they need to be able to run the ball for the rest to work.

Agreed. That was on Siri, mainly.  He even stated prior to last season that he didn't feel the need to change, only to keep working on what they do well.

Obviously, he got the rude awakening he needed (hopefully)

As others have said, I'd get them now if you can, and then you can either go or sell them depending on the season's outcome.

...but what if Dallas somehow makes it and he makes a crazy profit off of a butt boys fan?

I'd be all for a fellow Eagles fan making $$. But, yeah, the Cowboys should NEVER be in the SB. :chair:
