Whats the best way to get tickets and where to stay etc?

Ticket Master.

And book the hotel soon so you can be remotely near the Linc.

keep an eye out for the announcement from the team that tickets will be going on sale through ticketmaster. Thats your only chance of getting tickets at face value. Your chance is very slim. You have to be there the very second they go on sale and youll still end up in a queue with thousands of people ahead of you. But you may land some at face value. The sale is always on a Wednesday at 10am and should be happening some time in the next few weeks. It happens in May or June.

If you miss that chance, then still buy from ticketmaster.com but youll be paying secondary market prices, like what you can find on there right now.

If you want lower level seats, no need to wait for the official on sale date either because youll never get lower level seats then. Theyre really not available. As pretty much all are already held by season ticket owners, or are sold off to the ticketing sites/scalpers/etc already.

To stay the closest will be the Philadelphia Live Casino/Hotel which is basically in the parking lot of the sports complex. Its the only option that is right there so you should book early.

I wouldn't stay near the Linc - the subway is a great way to get to the sports complex and you'll need to use it to get into Philly to see the sites anyway.  Plenty of good hotels in Center City for any budget - but it depends on how long you'll be there to how low budget you can go.

Watch out for the homeless and the black Israelite movement - it won't be an authentic experience without seeing the former and being abused by the latter.

If you have any other questions, happy to help.

We bought our tickets through Ticketmaster the day after the schedule announced. I'd get moving on it now.

Regarding where to stay... there are some nice hotels for reasonable rates near the Convention Center/City Hall area.   They would be a quick zip down the Orange Line (Broad St) Subway from the Linc.

Alternatively, there are a couple nice hotels over by UPenn, that would be a zip on the Blue Line (Market St) Subway, and you can get a free transfer to the Orange Line at the City Hall station.

There's also some in the Olde City area, not too far from Penn's Landing... that would be a bit trickier to get to the stadium, but if you are looking for some sight seeing in addition to the game, it would be a nice option... though, I'm not sure how interested you'd be in the Revolutionary portions of that area.

And finally, there are hotels in the airport area... they'd likely require Uber... but the price is right.   Obviously, as with anything, there will be a variety of price points and amenities.  It comes down to your budget and preferences.   Center City is likely your best bet though for the combination of everything.  Nice hotels, some great restaurants nearby, access to shopping, sight seeing, etc. via subway in just about any direction... and of course, access to and from the stadium on the Orange Line.   And you can even get to that area pretty easily by Regional Rail from the Airport... to Jefferson Station (East side of City Hall) or Suburban Station (West side of City Hall), depending on which hotel you staying.    Ultimately... tons of options for just about any budget and any interest.

Yup. Definitely stay in center city. It's very easy to get on the subway. It's only about a ten minute ride away. The stadium complex is the last stop.

The tickets on there now are around $300 plus fees. How much are the face value tickets

It changes every year and I failed to land a pair last year. It's definitely something in the 100s. Not the 2 or 3 hundreds.

Th Eagles jacked up ticket prices to season ticket holders AGAIN this year even though there is one less game, albeit only a preseason game. I think it’s something like ten bucks per ticket.

They put prices into different tiers. For example if it averages out to $150 per, they’ll list some as $175, some as $150, and some as $125. Roughly. That sort of thing.

My guess is that the face will be around $150 per, but that can vary too. Anything approaching $200 would likely be club level.

2 tickets in section 220 cost me $400 after fees. Face value was $150 each.

You didn't do too bad then.

But it doesn't hurt to wait and see if you can get the face value.  Fees are lower for them too because those are a % of the ticket price.  So higher price = higher fee.
