I listen to Hurts talk, and he just doesn't sound thrilled about the scheme changing every year and wanting continuity. I see his point, but this is the NFL and you have to suck it up and get it done. He is throwing picks out there up to this point. He hasn't looked very sharp at all. These are facts.

But it's very early in OTA's and mini camp. He has some time to get it going, and the D is always ahead of the offense when it comes to camps. The OC and DC are throwing a LOT at them all at once- on purpose. So I am not surprised by anything so far. I don't like what Hurts is saying, but I am not going to worry about him just yet. The newness of it all is going to take some time, and I mean into the season about 5 or 6 games JUST TO GET IT GOING.

In the end, I think all of this is good for the Eagles as a team and org. It's The Great Reset- a much needed one. I think if we give them a little time to adjust, they will, and once thy do, they will be unstoppable. Hope springs eternal.

I don’t know. I find this all very concerning and I honestly don’t see what we should be all excited about. If this kind of stuff came out with any other team they would be considered a laughing stock. If this were the Cowboys the memes would be out of control clowning them. Instead it’s the Eagles so people are trying to downplay the issues. This all feels too familiar from Doug being forced to work with new coaches not of his choosing to the quarterback flaking out and having issues with his head coach. How did all that play out in 2020?

I hear you and understand where you are coming from. But I don't see this as anything like Doug and and all that. This is totally different. The Eagles now have to really good coordinators, whether Siri likes it or not. After last years collapse, Siri has a lot less say in the offense or defense, and I am glad. I see a big turnaround. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong... but most people covering the Eagles and a lot of youtube Eagles hosts are excited about the coordinators, and so am I. But again, I fully understand where you are coming from.

When I hear what Jalen has been saying about all of the changes and his head coach I feel the same way I did when this all began and that this feels like a transitional year for the Eagles. SB caliber teams generally do not completely revamp the offense in one offseason and expect to really compete. I think Jalen sees the writing on the wall and that is Sirianni should have been fired. Now if this doesn’t work he will be fired and once again we will be back to another season installing yet another new offense. 95% of a new offensive install and we are all assuming this is just going to work? On top of that we do not have Kelce in the middle anchoring the line and kind of bailing Hurts out. Too many changes and there is not enough time to implement them. My advice is keep the expectations for this season and possibly next season fairly low.

I agree with everything you say ...because it is logical. But from experience I know that things end up working complete opposite and illogically. While I think that the Eagles will take a step back, I believe they may overachieve.
