It's pretty simple -- if they make the playoffs, Sirianni is safe and gets an extension. If they don't, he is gone. He is in year 4 of a 5 year deal, so he's either getting extended or fired. And no, they aren't going to can Nick if he makes the playoffs 4 straight years to promote a guy who has never been a head coach. If the Eagles have a great year and Moore gets a job elsewhere, they will extend Nick and bring in a new OC.

If they back into the playoffs by winning a bunch of close games against bad teams and get blown out again in the WC game, I can see him being gone

What happened to Mike Vraebel? I’d take him over the clown we have.

When will he be fired?  Not soon enough.

They will sputter through the year and maybe sneak into the playoffs, but we all know what will happen if they do.

Mugshot pic from the press conference giving the prepared apologies. Blink twice if you are being held against your will.

I'd take him over Belichick

He is on Cleveland's staff.

Is he still here?

Maybe this topic should be renamed to:

How long before Siri Snaps?
He certainly is tired of being a powerless puppet, a clown, and a lightning rod.

His behavior is clearly of borderline mental exhaustion .

He is about to Snap.

I honestly think he'll be gone before the season ends, one way or other.

I really hope so! I think at this point there’s no hope for him here. And I think mentally he probably needs to move on. I think he’s coming apart.

Reminds me of when Brittnay Spears shaved her head. Feels like Sirianni’s cracking under the pressure.

Others have made that association.

If it weren't for the other factors with him, and he came out focused and they dominated and won and he conducted himself like an adult, people might think shaving his head was badass. But you're right, he's acting like he's on the brink of a meltdown.

People in the organization are saying they were embarrassed by him. Apparently (according to McLane the owner is very upset. Well I hope this is a wake up call to all of them. No more yes men type coaches.

Hopefully Sunday night if they blow this game against the Giants.

And that could very well happen

A loss would not be shocking, but right now, I think it's a repeat of last week. A win that's made harder than it should need to be.

Or Shane from the Walking Dead.  He went off the deep end too.

I voted by December. If we're not in the playoffs I think he'll be gone.

hope sooner though.

With this roster and and so many top draft picks and a 60m QB and a wide open NFC, theres no excuse to not at least make it to the NFCCG.

The reason we won’t though is our HC. I mean the QB has serious question marks around him too but the HC is a joke.

My prediction is that they go 10-7. Make the playoffs as a Wildcard. Get whacked in the first round by SF or TB (again!!) or GB, and then Siri gets fired.

So, I think Siri will get the whole season. He will sink himself.

Sounds plausible. I think it was a very small chance he could have been fired if they lost to the Saints and Bucs putting us at 1-3. Small chance, but a chance as the named interim would have had the bye to get more prepared, but as it stands now, I think he sticks around until they're mathematically eliminated at worst.
