The trouble is, we sort of knew what was coming didn't we?

Seen it too many times in the past, especially last year, and even in the superbowl.

They're just chokers of massive proportions. The lot of them.

Siriani just seems a bit thick between the ears. Some of the decisions are baffling.

Yeah I agree. We all feared when they kept Sirianni that things like this may happen. The key is what happens now but based on last year I’m not expecting much of a response next weekend.

What was the bs going for it on 4th and 9? Take the 3 points.

And, just burn through those timeouts, you won't need them late in the 4th quarter.

Fire Sirianni now!!!

Or, have him wear clown shoes and a red nose.

#FireSirianni trending yet?

Serious question, what does Sirianni do well? McCarthy, McVey, Shannahan, Tomlin, and others do something well on one side (or both) of the ball.

Last year when the offense was ****, all the blame was put on Brian Johnson. A competent coach would be able to call plays especially if you are an "offensive” coach.

Pretty sure it was 4th and 3 or 4, and we had two timeouts when we got the ball back at the end of the 4th quarter. Not to say Siri shouldn´t be criticised but better to criticise him based on what actually happened

You/re right. I only skimmed through the play by play this morning.

But, the sooner we get rid of Sirianni, the better. His decision making sucks.

Unless Fangio knows magic, it is about to get ugly next Sunday.

It could be an ass whipping of epic proportions if the team doesn't learn from this abomination.

No, I´m Brian and so´s my wife

His shtick is getting old. Losing winnable games because of his piss poor game management is maddening.

His shtick got old last year and he’s way beyond it now. This could turn ugly fast in the coming weeks and it all stems from the decision to keep him. We knew that was a risk though.

I don't think there were many people on the board that wanted him to stay.

He's proving us all right by making the same basic mistakes and poor decisions every week.

can't seem him improving either unfortunately.

After costing us the game last night, I have to agree that Siriani is on the hot seat.

How can you not be worried? Atlanta are not a good team. They don’t stink but they aren’t good. And we just lost the game to Kirk stinking Coupons who sucks. The DL is as bad as advertised and I’m not sure the offense is going to be as good as we hoped.

They're not a bad team.  But the decisions this head coach makes sometimes are concerning.

I had a problem with Siri when he started with his T Shirt fashion show.  That's not coaching.  And it does seem like his players have tuned out.  All this on the heels of a horrible losing streak to close out last year, a losing streak that seems to be carrying over to this year.  That, combined with questionable decisions that cost the team a game don't bode well for his future.

There was only one decision I think he got badly wrong and that was not taking the FG early. I get he wants to set the tone early but take the points. On the pass to Barkley, I thought that was a really good play call. It played out exactly as designed and Hurts put the ball in the exact spot. I would have bet a lot of money on Barkley making that catch.

Siri has to go, for sure. But nobady is talking about Howie Roseman. How many #1 pick has Howie put on the D line, and they are ALL busts? Howie and the scouts- whoever- can't judge talent properly. Look at our D. Jordan Davis is a ridiculous joke. People run through him like a hot knife through butter. Carter sucks... hell, the entire D sucks. Howie won't take any heat for this mess.... not yet. But trust me, this defense looks unfixable.

What I don´t understand with the defense is how they could be so effective in the red zone for basically most of the game and then become so porous on that last drive. That´s a headscratcher to me, because give those dude blank uniforms and you would never realise those two defenses were the same team in the same game

Disagree.  The upside of the Barkley play was not worth the downside that we saw.

Literally would have closed out the game... he was in acres of space, nobody near him. Definite first down and no excuses, he really should have caught it. Was little more than a toss play.

Still, none of it really matters. We threw away what looked a relatively comfortable win when there was no need to

I don’t think we are a bad team… I also don’t think we are a good team when factoring everything in.

Plenty of blame to go around for this loss, but Sirianni made some poor decisions that cost the Eagles in this one.

The Eagles are a transitional team with a coach in over his head. They have talent, but they lack depth. The coach is on his third set of coordinators and everyone just assumed it would all work despite the fact we all have seen this before. We also have seen Howie go FA crazy and watched that team implode. So now these guys haven’t played together or gotten any time in the preseason and they look sloppy and for what? To avoid injuries? They have had injuries so far but in both games preventing players from playing in these games. Doing the same things while expecting different results.

So. We spent the entire offseason calling Sirianni a cheerleader, but now that things go bad suddenly he's not a cheerleader and was the person directly responsible even with someone else's offense and someone else's playcalling?

Why don't we actually pick a side, rather than just doing what's convenient to confirm our feelings?

Is Sirianni a cheerleader, or is he the one who made the playcall? He can't be both.

I’m not sure we are a transitional team at this point? The money we are paying our star players we need to be contenders and if we aren’t then we are in trouble. We gave a pretty big contract to Barkley to win now… He’s not going to be the same in a year or so after heavier usage.
