Gannon? - mid-season firing, in a division where the 49ers are the clear dominant team and I don't see the Cardinals overtaking both the Rams/Seahawks, maybe one of them
McCarthy? - end of season firing, the Cowboys will compete with the Eagles for the division title, but another playoff appearance without a playoff win seals it for McCarthy
Pederson? - retained, I think the Jags ownership gives Pederson another year, even if they miss the playoffs again, given the recent 2022 appearance with a playoff win
Daboll? - end of season firing, there's a very realistic possibility that the Giants finish 4th in the division, as I see the Commanders overtaking them for the 3rd place spot

Sirianni? - I predict the Eagles improve from last year's finish and at least win 1 playoff game, however if we see another wild card one and done scenario or miss the playoffs altogether for whatever reason, he's an end of season firing

Already???? Damn, Va, you are a cold SOB!!

LOL 😄😄

My list of guys that could be gone

McDermott - He has been there a while and they haven't really progressed in the playoffs. They may not have the weapons for Allen to fire offensively and if they regress significantly he could be gone

Eberflus - The Bears are expecting improvement and with a rookie QB if he doesn't have a great year they could move him on for an offensive minded coach.

McCarthy - How does he still have a job?

Doug - I heard they were close to letting him go last year, hence the complete overhaul of the defensive staff. It's playoffs or bust for Doug.

Dennis Allen - I have no idea how he still has a job, he has no control over that team and they're not very good. They keep kicking the can down the road and I don't see them improving.

Daboll - An excellent first season but then they came back down to earth last year. The Giants don't seem patient, there is friction there and their roster is ass. He may be in trouble

Saleh - Playoffs or bust for Saleh, last year was a complete disaster for him and I don't think the offense will be good with an old ass Rodgers back from a torn achillies. Good luck to him

Last two I have added, but based on ownership I think they'll be safe

Sirianni - The way the last season ended there was a ton of pressure on him, Lurie seems okay with keeping him and I expect the team to be good enough this year between the coaching and player improvements that they should make the playoffs and a deep run. It will take a complete capitulation for them to fire him

Tomlin - He has enough runs on the board to keep that job, but the last time they made a divisional game was 2017 and the last time they made a championship game was 2016. Sometimes a change of scenery is needed for both the coach and the team. I think even if they miss the playoffs this year he will get at least next season, but it might be getting to that point they both need too split.

lol I've actually made this thread every year for at least the past 10 years, maybe 15, right around this time of year. Either right before training camp or very shortly after it starts.

Zac Taylor?

Gannon, Arizona

McCarthy, Dallas

Payton, Denver

Mayo, New England

Allen, New Orleans

Also, I think McVay will retire at the end of the season.

The Cowboys HC for sure, if they have like 9-8 season.

Could be possible but I don't see it

And live a regular life. He has hinted at being burned out off and on for the last 5 years.  He has grown up in the league and NFL coaches never really get time off.  He has won a Super Bowl, so he doesn't have too much to prove.

There was a rumour he could step away for a little bit and the networks were chasing him pretty hard

They've floated the possibility since they won the SB

I updated my list to include Jerod Mayo in New England. I can see him lasting just one year.

I think we can add Kyle Shanahan.  It appears 49ers ownership is not happy with him from what came out Tuesday on X/Twitter.

Anyone think Daboll from the Giants is on the hot seat ? I know they kind of gave him a pass last year

Their team is legitimately bad, he is in a no win situation with that squad. They have no QB, lack offensive weapons and are pissing away assets.

And what was that?

Kevin O’Connell, Vikings

Antonio Pierce, Raiders. I don’t think they actually wanted him but got surprised by how good they did with him last year.

Sean Mcdermott, Bills

Robert Saleh, Jets

Dougie P, Jags

Nick Sirianni, Eagles

Mike McCarthy, gheys

Basically the Yorks (49ers owners) were not happy with Shanahan nor GM John Lynch.  Not much more details.

Giants HC should be on the hott seat.

Giants and Panthers are going to suck this year no doubt about that. Those HCs are going to be on the hot seat at some point. Gannon in Arizona might be too.

I suspect Doug is on the hot seat, especially barring a miracle about to be 0-3 as the Jaguars are getting CRUSHED by the Bills.

Doug seems to have lost them.  A sign as to how bad they are should have been the Browns going in there and beating them in Week 2 given how the Cowboys, who have sucked the last two weeks pounding the Browns in Week 1 who then on Sunday lost to the Giants, a team many had going 0-17 this year.

As for the Giants, Daboll may get off the hot seat soon.  Their loss to the Commanders in Week 2 seems to be more on the fact Graham Gano was injured on the opening kickoff and they had to go for two because of no kicker in that game and the Vikings (who pummeled the Giants in Week 1) killed the Texans, as team many have as a Super Bowl contender on Sunday to get to 3-0.

Yean, I think 0-4 could be his exit ticket, especially if it's a blowout loss.

Yep:

And adding to what I previously wrote, if the Giants win tomorrow night Daboll is off the hot seat and McCarthy is likely going to be fired given they have 10 days before their next game.
