July 29, 20241 yr People hired when quotas were in place have always had the issue of others questioning their capability which sucks but is also totally understandable. In the 90s I worked in a large corporation where that very topic was around. Plenty of those people were really good but there were some that clearly weren't really up to the task. Part of the process I suppose, a process that I think was generally quite positive for a period of time.
