Eagles rookie QB Jalen Hurts blames limited contact with Carson Wentz on weird offseason

Jalen Hurts was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles and like any other quarterback enters the NFL, he wants the opportunity to start.

The Eagles currently belong to franchise quarterback Carson Wentz and with everything he’s gone through since entering the NFL in 2016, it’s hard to see No. 11 warming up to the second-round pick.

During a zoom call with Eagles media, Hurts stated that he’s had limited contact with Wentz since being drafted and blamed it on a "weird offseason.”

Wentz has been cordial and respectful, but kind of like Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love, don’t expect the veteran to offer any secrets to a rookie that has come for his job.

Even if that rookie is humble and accomplished Jalen Hurts.

God I get it these people need to find something to write about in order to continue collecting a paycheck and that the offseason is more of a challenge to do so, but man you think someone writing for a site focused on the Eagles would give a little more credit to the character of our players.  SMH

Good ole media trying to stir something up no matter what.....

Oh there has to be a QB controversy brewing.
