Reddick is an idiot. You have to question his mental health at this point. Already lost over $12M in fines and salary and just continues to dig his heels in.

To paraphrase Quint, from Jaws: "Well, it does prove one thing, Mr. Reddick.  You wealthy college boys don't have enough sense to admit when you're wrong."

Just read that he's been given permission to seek a trade. Any team trading for him needs to have a binding agreement in place, both with him and the Jets. He shows up and participates or the compensation reverts back to the trading team.

Josina Anderson says the Eagles get a 2nd round pick from the Jets if he is traded to a NFC team.

I also just read something that I don't remember knowing, and that's that the NFL rules don't allow a team to re-trade for a traded player until 2 years have passed. So for all those wanting the Eagles to trade for him, it can't happen. Apparently though, it could only happen if he's traded, then that new team trades him to the Eagles or if the Jets release him, he could re-sign with the Eagles.

I wouldn't want the Eagles to trade for him outright anyway, even if they could, not after what's happened with the Jets.

The Eagles aren't going to pay him anyway. So I think it is all moot.

But wouldn't it be funny if the fleece a 2nd round pick from the Jets, only to trade a 3rd-round pick to the Cardinals to reacquire Reddick, who hasn't played all season fresh for a playoff run.

Looks like he's come to an agreement with the Jets. I was thinking he'd end up reporting by week 10. But they've come to an agreement now.
