Why was max sharping playing left tackle most of the game when he’s a veteran guard?  I think that’s why Pickett was sacked so much. Sharping seemed frustrated by playing the position. Are we that short of OT depth?

Steen should be playing left tackle as it's his natural position.  Kinnard can be the back up RG

Pickett is just too indecisive with the ball. He has to get rid of it quicker. McKee, on the other hand, reads the defense and gets rid of the ball quickly and accurately. 

The Eagles Defense is only given up 13 PPG in the Preseason thus far

With that said, The Offense is only averaging 14 PPG in the Preseason thus far

 

So the 2nd and 3rd Team defense is holding it together.   Offense is clearly vanilla right now but was impressed with McKee on the last drive and two point. 

 

 

 

 

I like those averages. Maintain them, and we go 20-0

From your mouth to Goodell's ear. My concern with further reducing the number of pre season games is for the 6-7th round/UDFA guy who is more of a gamer than a practice player. With only 2 preseason games, he's never going to get a fair look. More joint practices?

i hated seeing that- over and over and over again. He is to slow to throw- EVERY time. Get his ass outta here. 

 

Watched the game on NFL Network.  It was a telecast by the NE, which featured mostly their team.  With all the new players and numbers, it was hard to follow our players who was doing well or not.  Not an enjoyable experience.

He reminded me of Wentz last night. Holding onto the ball too long and taking the sack rather than throwing it away

Yeah. Even worse though he doesn't have the arm talent or creativity to make up for it in spots. Career back up for sure. McKee was throwing dimes again even though his WRs weren't always catching them. Seems to get through his progressions way quicker. Just don't ask him to do the sneak. :)

I wonder if the joint team practices, in the future, replace the pre-season games? Televise it? Charge fans some $ to watch it live? Hmmmm maybe not, as I would think the greedy NFL/Owners might lose $ if it ever comes to fruition.

Having watched the game on Friday morning. I have to ask after two games, if Kenny Pickett is the answer, what the hell was the question ?
