Definitely would have to think about it - he’s a mismatch as a receiver but not much of blocker, adequate at best. Given that he’d only get a couple targets a game, probably rather go with a midround option.

Whether Goedert gets traded or is still on the roster at the start of the season, TE is definitely one of our biggest needs.

I can easily see Loveland being on their big board at #32 and can even see them trading up a couple of spots to secure him.

They had Celek and took Ertz in 2013. In 2018 they took Goedert after Ertz helped them win a SB. Wouldn’t surprise me if history repeats itself in april and Howie flatout selects Goedert’s heir apparent with their first pick.
