No she wasn't flexed, all her interviews will be recorded and a confession obtained via threat of indefinite remand would be illegal under PACE and inadmissible in court, the officers concerned would be investigated for professional misconduct, her defence brief would have taken it up in her original case or her appeal and she would've gone to trial with no admission of guilt, she didn't go to Trial and her appeal was thrown out. Her story is a confection so the Farage can present her as a cause celebre at Reform conference.

Yes the Epping Guy committed sexual assault and he got 12 months and then he'll likely be deported, his offence is sexual assault but there wasn't any sexual contact, he touched thigh and said some horrible stuff. 12 months and deportation seems about right.

Moving on to the 'it's about kids safety' the Unite the Kingdom crowd literally dragged a grooming victim off stage at weekend as soon as she said her groomers were white men, so is it about kids safety or not? If it's about kids safety why do so many people at these protests get identified as nonces or nonce adjacent? Your motability scam thing is literally social media nonsense based on obvious clickbait tiktoks of teenage carers claiming they got a new car because of headaches / autism / depression, literally anyone who knows how the system actually works will tell you it's nonsense but it no longer matters.

Farage is talking about tearing up indefinite leave to remain for existing holders and all the protests end up as send em back rallies, it's not dog whistling to point out that this is the language of the old National Front. The reason the immigrants are in Hotels and HMO's in the first place is because the 'legitimate concerns and heritage' crowd kicked up such a fuss in the 90's that the government removed their right to work to support themselves while their cases were adjudicated, now you're protesting that their holding pens aren't prisony enough while they're not allowed any other means of support, you go on about immigrants affecting house prices for English families, you could kick every immigrant that arrives in the next five years out and it won't make a jot of difference to house prices, because it's private landlords and housebuilders that set house prices.

The idea comedians can't do comedy is so much hooey, can comedians do Jim Davidson routines from the 80's and make a living? Probably not but the number of comedians arrested for making jokes at minorities expense remains zero. Graham Linehan was arrested for assault and criminal damage, not for an off colour remark about trans people, not that the truth matters to Graham, there's more money in the lie.

You talk about dog whistles but your post is literally full of every right wing dog whistle of the last 10 years. You've done a post up there about the Notting Hill carnival which has an incorrect number of arrests at the 'Unite the Kingdom' march, if it had the correct figure (23) you'd be able to figure out that the rate of arrests expressed as a percentage of attendees are more or less identical (I mean actual attendance, not figures Tommy Robinson pulled directly out of his behind on X), in fact 61 of the arrests counted for Notting Hill Carnival were arrests outside the carnival footprint based on facial recognition for offences committed elsewhere so the numbers are slightly worse at the march.

Why do people have to show pride in their heritage with flags all of a sudden, why is it suddenly vital to run a union jack up every lamppost in Town? Patriotism? Give over, you know what it's all about don't insult my intelligence. I'd have more respect for you owning it with your whole chest rather than trying to dress it up.

Epping Guy getting 12 months vs hurty words, outside of Connolly, getting more prison time stinks. Everyone barring die hard Labour supporters, the far left and the judiciary see why this is a massive problem. Will that guy get deported d you think? Maybe he doesn't like the chicken nuggets or coffee in his homeland, appeals to a friendly judge and he'll be another drain on our ever stretched resources. That is how much many of us do not trust the system anymore, that we assume that he will find a way to stay.

SA gangs are the worst of the worst-its bad enough we can only jail white people and more definite punishment is not available to use - they deserve more. Those who booed that lady at Unite the Kingdom are idiots; but a small percentage of all the people that went, so some context. too And the Unite Kingdom 23 arrests included 14 people (SWP, Antifa etc) from the counter protesters that were arrested, but the figures were merged. But regardless, I wonder why Mayor Khan won't allow sunlight on the gangs that operate in London? Can you suggest why he won't do it? He claims London is safe, so its an easy win for his tenure....

Removing ILR is something that Farage only got on board with once it was culturally acceptable for him - just a year ago, he said it was too gauche for Reform to consider and it was off the cards.

As for ILR as a concept, I think in retrospect, it has been abused for many years - the Boriswave is the most egregious example, but this country does not need more immigration. Its a drag on our GDP, services,. etc and we cannot afford it. Sadly, this means we need people who can leave, to go back to their homelands ASAP. This is not something I want in an ideal world, but frankly, ILR has been abused for years and is not citizenship, and can be removed at any time, for any reason. We need allow highly skilled migrants in, or areas where we need the labour - not the relative of Tailban commander.

And I'll be clear, I think Farage is a largely ineffective gobshite on the UK stage - the fact Reform still have little to no policy platform and the local branches are in constant conflict with HQ suggests it won't go so well. The fact they have let in a lot of wet Tories suggests it will be more of the same, done differently. Farage needs intellects around him but he has this habit (like Starmer) of getting them out of his vicinity in fear of his own position. But it can't be any worse than Labour; they are our nadir of sleaze and incompetence. Did you see Labour Together seem to have hidden more payments to MPs from the EC? Naughty, naughty.

As for comedians - Jerry Sadowitz in Edinburgh says hi. Could I do a skit about Diane Abbott doing Maths or wearing the correct shoes, David Lammy talking about the human body or his appearance on Mastermind, etc?

We will disagree, but one thing for sure. The media are very out of synch with the real world. The fact that Labour are half arsedly waving the flags at their conference suggests that even they are worried about English nationalism and wanting to get on the bandwagon. But its all fake, like the party.

Quite a few days in the UK. The Deputy Prime Minister got heckled by Jews at a memorial service for murders that the PM decided he preferred not to attend. - the coward The terrorist in Manchester was on already bail for SA and seems to be an absolutely rotten human being; his Dad seems to be little better. More questions are being asked why we allowed ourselves to be in this position.

The Govt and their supplicants in the media are wanging on about the Far Right after a mosque was set fire to. Clearly not ok for anyone to burn down religious sites , but their ire has been rather silent when churches, who seem to keep catching fire. More distractions to remove accountability.

The left, because they are that way inclined, decided to protest for Palestine on Saturday, and because the desire to virtue signal for a banned terrorist org is strong, we're now at 900 total arrests for that movement. The Govt, who in opposition, cired about legislation to block protests, are now proposing to make protests harder to do. Which will stop the Migrant Hotel Protests.

We are a right old mess.

The UK 10x'd their number of rapes in less than three decades. I wonder what changed? Any ideas?

What happened? If you look at the demographics for the SA per capita, its pretty clear where the problem lies. How did it happen? Certainly, you can look at the various types of immigration (illegal, legal, etc) and connect the dots to why its happened.

Our issue is the Govt system really doesn't want to resolve the issue. They are all in on the multicultural train; hence the finger pointing at the far right recently. They cannot admit their mistakes.

Speaking of multiculturalism. This is what one of the protestors against Israel thought on 7th October

While deportations are gauche in some political spheres, this sort of stuff is a reason why. This person does not share British values.

And this wonderful charmer of a human works in our NHS. Nothing will happen; she is a protected animal in the socialist farm

Just to be clear, is the problem with these hurty words that you don't like them, are hurty words good or bad? you're sending mixed signals.

Yeah it's because the UK moved to a broader definition of rape in 2003, the UK uses informed consent to sexual activity as the defining line it doesn't require violence or coercion which is fundamentally different from other countries with apparently lower figures, it's actually outlined in the original charts the data was cherry picked from that comparison isn't possible because of the different definitions but the people putting it all over X aren't big on context.

lmao, is that the only factor? lol

It literally is said about everyone else

If you replace Israeli with {insert race of brown person here} she would sound like any other Trump supporter.

Whether I like them or not, is completely irrelevant to my and many others arguments.

Are you ok with the Police, Judicial System and Govt deciding what hurty words are? Why do you think that? What do you define as fair freedom of speech and what is offensive?

And when the authorities decide the words are hurty, how do they apply the law in a consistent and fair manner? What system would you employ to ensure that everyone, regardless or race, gender, etc are treated the same and proportionally?

Do you think that the UK needs an equivalent of the Americas first amendment to enshrine a level of protection in the freedom of speech?

She's telling the Israelis to "go back where they came from". It's literally what every Trump supporter says to any non white even if they were born here.

The Maccabi Tel Aviv fans are notorious hooligans, that's why they've been banned, it's got balls all to do with them being Jewish. They had to call off the Tel Aviv derby Yesterday because of rioting in the stadium. Opposing fans attending European games has happened at least 15 times, Eintracht Frankfurt have been refused a ticket allocation for a match against Napoli after an appeal this same weekend because of the risk of violence, this is the second time they've been refused tickets having been excluded against Napoli in 2023 as well, is that because they're German?

This is BS conflating action against anything Israeli on any grounds as antisemitic (ironically doing that actually IS antisemitic but that's by the bye, I accept that isn't your intention)

Antisemitic or not, government deciding which fans can attend what events and banning entire groups is collective punishment.

That sort of overreach is not indicative of a free society. It's authoritarianism in another form.

If you want me to treat a certain group of people as a threat you really need to come up with a better term than "hooligan"

Seriously. Pretty much everybody in the UK under 25 would qualify (so says my Brit neighbor anyway lol )

Ironically, there is so much more going on over here than this - and the below is a regime journo:

This Govt is a complete clustermuck, and they show no signs of letting up. The 0.1% economic growth championed recently came from Govt borrowing. The Deputy Leader election of the Govt party is someone the PM was sacked recently and tried to claim grooming gang issues were a dog whistle . 9,000 SA gangs cases have been reopened in London - the Mayor has constantly denied the issue exists. - and the Govt continue their tone deaf push of digital ID.

The cous de grace of their week? This

This is worth keeping an eye on. Various American firms are telling the Ofcommies to go away on the Free Speech Censoring Act and its going to court

And we can all recall the Scottish kid with the weapons that hit the headlines. Look at what just happened in Dundee, the town where she tooled herself up

And somehow, our Govt keeps finding ways to try and ignore this issue. It ain't going away

Oh the irony. Censoring a documentary about the censorship of free speech hidden in the depths of the Online Safety Act, even though the documentary contains nothing spicy in it worth censoring.

chef-kiss-gif.gif

24 hours on the UK is cooking again, but not in a good way.

Not motive for the below, the Afghan illegal who was given a visa and stabbed 2 other people. Its on video and not a pleasant watch

And this just showed in my X algo

This is why people like me say Multiculturalism has utterly failed. Advocates can get angry and use slurs, but we brought this onto ourselves. We can't keep living like this
