Man, I like this move.

Slot WR. Finally. Howie!!!

Perfect for the Slot. Let's go PSU.

Jahan Dotson runs official 4.43-second 40-yard dash at 2022 combine.

Nice move! 16th pick only 2 years ago.

So we basically traded down 2 rounds and 2 7th rounders for a former first rounder.  Even if he is a bust, as a WR3 with upside you can't hate it.

This is Howie's world.

We're just living in it.

Pricey for a 3rd rounder but could be well worth it if he pans out.  He's done pretty well as a pro thru two years.  No reason to feel negative about him.

I'm happy with it.

Stacked offense gets even better.

I like it a lot

It feels a little desperate. Eagles need WR depth and a slot. Dotson has a lot to prove but he's still young. The Eagles didn't have to give up much. Just a drop from a 3rd Round Pick to the 5th, and a couple of 7th Rounders. I can't hate the trade.

Is he really that much better than we had? Don't really see the point in trading away a 3rd round pick for essentially Jalen Reagor production with TD's.

Maybe it was the offense he was in.

In like 30 fewer games he's got more catches, more yards and about 3 times the amount of TDs.

Yes, he is that much better. The kid has genuine talent.

All we need him to be is a better version of Quez Watkins.

Someone who can play the slot and flanker roles in this offense and provide a legit deep threat to keep safeties honest.

This will open up the field for Moore to get creative with Brown and Smith as well as open things up for Goedert and Barkley.

I'm definitely a fan of the move, on paper, but I think a 3rd is a bit of an overpay.

OK maybe Reagor level is a bit harsh but He's a first round WR who got under 600 yards in each of his first two years despite being up against Curtis Samuel for WR2, and Washington are willing to let him go for a third and 2 sevenths despite losing Samuel in free agency and only adding Christian McCaffreys brother in the 3rd, our WR3 from last year and Martavis Bryant from the hotbox in his bathroom.

If they think moving on Dotson doesn't affect their shiny new franchise QB's chances what does that, along with watching Dotson play the last two years tell you about this move? He is not a stand out  receiver.

I just don't see the point in giving up a 3rd for a marginal upgrade at 4th receiving option. It's dealing for the sake of dealing, it doesn't move the needle.

Washington is still trying to get Aiyuk. This opens a spot and gives them extra draft capital to trade.

Here's how I view it:

He is unquestionably better than what we've had at WR3 of late. He has blazing speed and is no longer on a dumpster fire of a team with garbage QB play.

Beyond that, Goedert likes to miss time every season. Campbell can't stay healthy. We were an injury to Brown/Smith away from being in a rough spot.

Not only does he vastly improve WR3, he provides competent depth should we lose one of the big 2 for a few games.
