Posted August 26, 20241 yr I had my draft this weekend. Standard scoring 12 team league with one flex, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 QB, 1 TE. I was picking 9th. QB: Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams RB: Jahmyr Gibbs, De'Von Achane, Javonte Williams, Chase Brown, Chuba Hubbard WR: CeeDee Lamb, Cooper Kupp, Brandon Aiyuk, Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr TE: David Njoku, TJ Hockenson (getting moved to one of 2 IR spots) DST: Chargers K: Brandon Aubrey I never should have gotten Lamb where I was drafting but this league always goes crazy for RBs early plus you have to take a shot any time you pick a Cowboy. My starting RBs are high variance players but high ceiling, which was the best I could hope for in the 2nd and 3rd round of this draft. TE isn't great but hopefully Njoku will be good enough until Hockenson gets back.
August 26, 20241 yr How did you get Lamb with the #9 pick? A shot of what exactly? It would have to be really nasty for me to pass that up.

The penalty shot gets chosen by the previous year’s winner. This year it was some pink vodka lemonade thing. I have no idea what it was called. Here’s the picks in the first round, not that seeing this will make it any more logical. Maybe it was the holdout?
August 26, 20241 yr Not a fan of having 2 rookie qbs. I think Williams is going to struggle in the pro game. Wrs and rbs are good

I drafted them both based on value because they both fell well past their adp. I would have preferred to pair Daniels with a "safer” vet QB but it didn’t work out.

The first 5 picks are RBs pushing the WRs late into Round 1. Smart to snag Lamb #9. And you still get Jahmyr Gibbs at RB in Round 2.

November 24, 2024Nov 24 Author So this team started great but injuries made it necessary for me to shuffle damn near the entire roster. Thoughts for rest of season and playoffs?
November 25, 2024Nov 25 It is strange you have both Gibbs & Montgomery at RB. And Brown and Smith at WR. They are good enough to coexist. But it seems like they ultimately cancel each other out. I don't know how you manage the Murray-Carr-Love QB carousel. They would drive me nuts. Good luck!
