Hurts is 15 year old with a learners permit driving a Ferrari offense. He has the best WR duo in the league. A game changing RB. A outstanding oline that gave him all day to throw today btw and a solid TE. He's the weak link.

Where was Jordan Davis tonight. Honestly, I really didn’t hear much from him tonight.

I heard his name once. Where were Huff and Smith.

Not perfect but Green Bay is a popular pick among expert to do some things this year and were a playoff team last year.

We made mistakes, missed some opportunities, dodged some bullets but ultimately won the game!  I'll take it!

Eagles won. But I'm certainly annoyed that this game feels like a continuation  of last year.

How so?  Jalen threw over the middle, granted it lead to 2 picks, they had a ton of motion, they ran from under center a lot, the defense blitzed, picked off passes, stopped the run when they needed to, but if cities they did give up some big plays.  It’s way better than the back half of last season.

My biggest complaint is that we did not put enough pressure on the quarterback.  Huff and Smith did not get any pressures that I can recall.  I thought Quinyon Mitchell played pretty good.

Well, pre season game 1 in the books. Hurts has a lot to improve on, but you can't deny that last drive was amazing. Mitchell seems like the real deal. Baun played like a mad man. Barkley is what we thought he was. Our front 4 was meh at best, wanna see them on a better field. All in all, we did beat a good team which might as well been an away game crowd.

Good point, we didn't get enough pressure on QB, was that field condition related, hope so.

Agreed!

I look at it this way... That was one of the best teams we'll play all year and we won.  So we're 1-0.   Plus, later on down the line, that win can be a huge tie-breaker for us (playoff spot or first round bye).

But Hurts can't throw interceptions like that.   Also, we got some pressure on the QB, but we need more sacks...

Not enough pressure on QB from our unit.  Was this related to field conditions, hope so!

Great win against a very good team, some bad plays by hurts but also by love, some idiot said it is continuation from last year? are some people really this stupid?

I mean the field didn't help their rush but a few pressures would have helped. I wonder if Howie gets more help at DE if the pass rush from the outside doesnt improve.

Didn’t get a chance to see the game as a whole, because I had to work but here are my thoughts overall. The NFL should be embarrassed to play on that field. Just a mess. Zach Baum came to play and Mitchell played pretty solid. Feel bad for Love to get hurt on that crappy field. Jalen Hurts made some stupid decisions out there, but he also made some big plays on that final drive. Speaking of that final drive they should’ve gave that ball to Barkley! Speaking of Barkley he had an outstanding debut game. Keep him healthy and he is going to dominate this season. Finally despite the mistakes (the Packers kind of kept the Eagles in this one) the Eagles did score 34 points and clearly left points on the field. I’ll give it a pass for now, but I need to see better as the season goes on.

My man, it’s ok to be happy.  Try a smile for a change. You might like it.

Nothing I said was false. Happy for win but very sloppy. Hurts did not play well.

Some people have agendas, they are not interest in being happy, by the way being happy means criticizing hurts for some

Smith had a few hurries, but he needs to finish. He missed out on a sack in the first half because he lost his footing.

Huff was largely invisible. Hopefully, he turns it on as the season progresses.

Lots of milk carton players.

Hurts isnt seeing the field man.

Will take that W.

Keeping in perspective I like it.  The penalties were ridiculous.  NFL should be embarrassed by the near 4 hours it took to play the game.  But the refs did help us to a degree so ima call that one even.  The field was atrocious!

Jalen has had 3 different coordinators in his pro career, I’ll give him a break on some of It tonight.  He’ll get better.  There were clear things that were better - the communication of plays to him was very good and nick stayed out of the way for the most part so that should help.  It was weird when they went to no huddle in the 3rd quarter for no reason, except maybe to keep GB gassed, but that was a drive that ended in an INT because of on field miscommunication.  Again that should be better but I feel like they were testing things out, like that was a preseason drive 😆

Baun is an Instant legend. First game and already at the top of the record books!!

Happy for the win. The team has a lot of work to do and that includes Hurts. Saquon is as advertised.

lol true philly style

It was an ugly win against a playoff team. I think they’ll work the kinks out. This a team that does very little in the preseason.

I’m feeling optimistic that this team is a far cry from the one who finished the season last year.

Definitely expected better from our defense…I think a few games to iron some stuff out

gotta stop letting hurts call the option now…just audible to Barkley and be done with it..run if you have to but, use that RB and throw the ball.

coach better start calling a better game…
