Is it? They have been mediocre at best even in Stafford's best year.

Well, they will likely go from mediocre to awful?

Oh so he's not proven positive he's opted out. Wow that's the first I guess big name.

Gardner Minshew is now the next QB to test positive apparently.

Wait... I'm not sure Stafford has opted out? He's tested positive for COVID-19 so he's on the COVID reserve list?

Either tested positive or was in close proximity to someone who tested positive.

Yeah but that's very different to opted out.

Right. I wasn’t speaking to opting out. This is a different list.

Right but the original post says opted out.

I heard reports this morning saying Stafford did indeed test positive. (not a case of being in proximity of someone testing positive.)

Strange. The first article I saw, said he opted out because of having a child with a immune system disorder. Now im seeing he tested positive. Who knows.

No i know you weren't but OP was.

It was a false positive.

His wife has been getting ripped for her response.  While I don't think it would have been difficult for her to stay at home from the playground or the grocery store or to pick up food (for 4-5 days total), she does have 4 kids under 4 years old and had a brain tumor removed last year.  Makes me sympathize a tiny bit.

She was venting. I don't blame her. I can imagine her life went into chaos. After they found out it was a false-positive, seems like she tried to go back to normal life like it never happened, but people kept flipping out on her like she was being irresponsible.

I'm not going to blame or get angry at any player, coach, ref or whoever, that decides to opt out. I really believe that the league should probably opt out at this point. It just seems irresponsible to carry on and pretend that they can protect the entire league, their families and anyone that any of them come in contact with. Revenue is important, life/health is more important.

As most the "positive" cases are, but MSM gotta keep the fearmongering alive

they really shouldn't have a season this go around. Wait until next year
