August 3, 20205 yr Wait... I'm not sure Stafford has opted out? He's tested positive for COVID-19 so he's on the COVID reserve list?

August 3, 20205 yr I heard reports this morning saying Stafford did indeed test positive. (not a case of being in proximity of someone testing positive.)
August 3, 20205 yr Author Strange. The first article I saw, said he opted out because of having a child with a immune system disorder. Now im seeing he tested positive. Who knows.

August 6, 20205 yr His wife has been getting ripped for her response. While I don't think it would have been difficult for her to stay at home from the playground or the grocery store or to pick up food (for 4-5 days total), she does have 4 kids under 4 years old and had a brain tumor removed last year. Makes me sympathize a tiny bit.

After they found out it was a false-positive, seems like she tried to go back to normal life like it never happened, but people kept flipping out on her like she was being irresponsible.
August 6, 20205 yr I'm not going to blame or get angry at any player, coach, ref or whoever, that decides to opt out. I really believe that the league should probably opt out at this point. It just seems irresponsible to carry on and pretend that they can protect the entire league, their families and anyone that any of them come in contact with. Revenue is important, life/health is more important.
