Week 1 post transaction feedback and moves

League 1 - 10 team standard

Add: Likely

Drop: Cousins

I ended up with the first pick of waivers and tossed up Likely and Mason. Mason is better short term, Likely probably the better long term play. I hated the Mahomes pick at the time that I made it, I wanted Hurts, he was taken the pick before mine, I panicked and drafted Adams in the third and Mahomes in the 4th. I feel like WR 1 is where I lack, but Aiyuk could be a low end WR 1 when he gets back into game shape. I play a lot more PPR and I tend to lean towards guys that are better in the PPR format. Adams probably is more of a WR2/Flex in standard but far better in PPR formats with Minshew at QB. Kincaid was disappointing but I also expect him to be better. As bad as my week 1 was, I think my team isn't awful. I have also got a bunch of bench stash guys that when they are healthy they could be top end options

I am wondering if I drop Hollywood Brown for Mattison/Irving/Bigsby, although I think I'd rather see Brown play a week with Mahomes before cutting bait. Current team below

QB: Mahomes
RB: Hall
RB: K. Williams
WR: Adams
WR: Diggs
TE: Kincaid
Flex: Aiyuk
K: Koo
D/ST: Seahawks

Bench

D. Johnson
Moss
Chubb
Likely
Coleman
Hollywood Brown
Jameson Williams

IR: Hockenson

League 2 - 12 team PPR, 6 point Passing TD's (WU League)

Add: Mattison, Tyler Johnson

Drop: Bengals D/ST, Cousins

I hated the Mahomes pick in one league so I decided to double down and pick him again. I missed on Likely but ended up with Mattison through waivers and picked up Tyler Johnson separately. I've cut bait early on Cousins, I have a QB I'm not benching and he looked cooked. It's one week but he isn't going to see the field and I need RB depth. I know Mattison was trash for the Vikings, but he looked infinitely better than White and I can see him winning that job. Tyler Johnson looked amazing in the bits I saw of him in that SNF Game and is worth a risk rostering for now. I don't need to carry a second D/ST and the Bengals were an easy drop. I think TE until Hockenson is healthy and second flex are my crapshoot positions.

QB: Mahomes
RB: K. Williams
RB: Conner
WR: AJ Brown
WR: C Watson
TE: Freiermuth
Flex: Aiyuk
Flex: Godwin
D/ST: Seahawks

Bench

Moss
D. Hopkins
Hockenson
Tyler Johnson
Dowdle
Shaheed
Mattison

League 3 - 12 team PPR (Elimination League)

Adds: Pacheco, Z. Moss, Purdy, Jeff Wilson, Goedert

Drops: Vikings D/ST, Freiermuth, Stafford, Z. White, Hollywood Brown

This was an auto draft team and it royally screwed me at RB2. Being able to grab Pacheco from one of the eliminated teams was huge, I also went after Moss who I like and is seeing the majority of snaps for the Bengals. Wilson is a bench stash for this week (probably drop him before game time actually), Purdy as my back up QB since the Rams line is banged up. Goedert is an option to start at TE based on matchups with Kincaid.

QB: Jackson
RB: K. Williams
RB: Pacheco
WR: Chase
WR: Godwin
TE: Kincaid
Flex: K. Allen
K: Santos
D/ST: Steelers

Bench

Aiyuk
McConkey
Meyers
Z. Moss
Purdy
Wilson Jr.
Goedert

IR: Hockenson

League 4 - 10 person team league, TD Bonus (Hunt's league)

Adds: TJ Hockenson, Willis, Lazard, Legette, Vele, Reynolds

Drops: Akers, Atwell, Moore, Henry, Pierce, Foreman

I completely overhauled my bench and got rid of a lot of the dead weight 4th string guys for players that have starting roles and volume. Willis is a flyer to see how he goes with Love out. I may be able to start him as an OP if needed. Hockenson is a bench stash and helps one of my two biggest weaknesses at the TE position. Lazard had 9 targets and 2 TD's. I can't see Moore ever putting up those numbers so he is better depth. Legette, Vele and Reynolds saw 7, 8 and 8 targets which is better than guys that aren't seeing the field in Atwell, Pierce and Foreman. A complete bench overhaul but my team is looking okay.

QB: Stroud
RB: K. Williams
RB: Mixon
WR: Collins
WR: Kupp
TE: Shultz
Flex: Diggs
Flex: Ford
OP: Stafford
K: Fairbairn
D/ST: Texans

Bench

Njoku
Watson
Browns D/ST
Hopkins
Puka
Chubb
Cooper
Dell
TJ Hockenson
Jeudy
Willis
Winston
Lazard
Robinson
Legette
Higbee
Vele
Corum
Parkinson
Reynolds

Good luck with Mahomes. Dude cost me the chip last year. He didn't have a multi touchdown game the last 4 weeks of the season. I wanted to bench him, but too many of the fantasy "experts" said things like "You're an idiot if you bench Mahomes, he's going to blow up".

Looking at his numbers last year, outside of a few huge games early he was poor. The Denver games they destroyed him but he did have a lot of droppee balls. The encouraging thing from the Ravens game was his efficiency vs a great defensive team

I am not big on Mahomes either. On the plus side he has a high floor. But he doesn't have the same breakout ability without Tyreek Hill, and Kelce is starting to fade. I would much rather have a QB with the upside of rushing ability like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, or Hurts.

Hurts was the one I liked the most coming into the season. Turnovers hurt last week but he has the weapons.

I don't trust Lamar to stay healthy and I feel like he may be forced to throw more this year. Likely stepped up, but it will depend on Andrews and how he plays this year.

Allen I worry about who he was going to throw the ball to, he killed it week 1 and then sucked this week.

It was then take a risk on Richardson/Stroud. Richardson has a small sample size and Stroud would be a breakout guy.

Mahomes should at least have 30 odd passing TD's on the season. I did really like Pacheco as an option this year, he may have 15+ rushing TD's

Mahomes was often the 2nd QB picked in my fantasy drafts. Too high for me. I'd rather wait for one of Allen, Lamar, or Hurts to fall. If not them, settle for Richardson or Murray later. Or Stroud, who I had ranked about even with Mahomes. Yet you got Mahomes twice. It makes me wonder what position players did you miss?

In the first league, Hurts went round 3. Allen and Lamar went before my Mahomes pick in the 4th. I was thinking there may be a run on QB's and thought F it grab Mahomes. Kelce went the next pick. Mike Evans the big slider along with Cook, Achane, Kupp, Moore and Smith. I had Hall and Williams, Evans should have probably been the pick instead and take Stroud instead of Aiyuk in the next round

The PPR league, I went early on Aiyuk in round 3 (contract extension announced by that point), Hurts already gone and Allen the pick before mine. Guys I passed on include Deebo, Achane, Moore, Smith, Diggs, Rice and Walker. QB's taken before my next pick include Lamar, Stroud, Richardson and Burrow. Achane is the one I'm pissed that I missed here, I was high on him coming into the season, but all the other QB's I really liked were gone, so QB was probably the right pick. Love would have been my next guy on the board and he is injured

I waited until the top guys were gone (Allen, Hurts, Mahomes, Jackson, Stroud, Murray) and went with Richardson. Dude has a lot of upside if he can stay healthy.

I went 0qb in my draft last year, so he ended up as my starter. He was fire for a month last season, then he hurt his shoulder. Hopefully he can bounce back. Last week he didn’t look that good.

Carr might be a good play at QB this week. Looks like the Eagles will just let him stand back there all day and make throws.

Week 2 post transaction feedback and moves

League 1 - 10 team standard

QB: Mahomes
RB: Hall
RB: K. Williams
WR: Adams
WR: Diggs
TE: Kincaid
Flex: Aiyuk
K: Koo
D/ST: Seahawks

Bench

D. Johnson
Moss
Chubb
Likely
Coleman
Johnston
Jameson Williams

IR: Hockenson

Total Points: 84.84 - Win

Add: Johnston

Drop: Mattison

I ended up adding Mattison when Brown went on IR but I don't really want any of the Raiders RB's. Figured I'd take a crapshoot stash on Johnston for the time being. I ended up winning with my awful score because the Eagles lost. I have Koo and he has Hurts, I won by 1.92 points. I will probably look to start Jameson Williams over Diggs this week

League 2 - 12 team PPR, 6 point Passing TD's (WU League)

QB: Mahomes
RB: K. Williams
RB: Conner
WR: Aiyuk
WR: Godwin
TE: Freiermuth
Flex: Moss
Flex: Tyler Johnson
D/ST: Seahawks

Bench

AJ Brown
C Watson
D. Hopkins
Hockenson
Dowdle
Shaheed
Perine

Total Points: 107.14 - Loss

Add: Perine

Drop: Mattison

I made the mistake of benching Shaheed and starting Tyler Johnson. That will change this week, even though Shaheed looks like a boom or bust player. My team was pretty poor and I ended up adding Perine and dropping Mattison. If Perine can get the bulk of the carries he may be a servicable spot start and has shown the ability to score points in the past. There are a couple of other moves I have contemplated making but I think I may hold for now.

League 3 - 12 team PPR (Elimination League)

QB: Jackson
RB: K. Williams
RB: Pacheco
WR: Chase
WR: Godwin
TE: Kincaid
Flex: Aiyuk
K: Santos
D/ST: Steelers

Bench

K. Allen
McConkey
Meyers
Z. Moss
Purdy
Charbonnet
Goedert

IR: Hockenson

Total Points: 118.48 - Loss

Adds: Zach Charbonnet

Drops: Mattison

Pacheco was my big pick up and he managed to injure himself. Kincaid has been disappointing along with just about every other TE. I had picked up Mattison and dropped Wilson when Achane was listed as playing. Charbonnet may get the start if Walker is out again, but I'll probably field Moss at RB2 instead.

League 4 - 10 person team league, TD Bonus (Hunt's league)

QB: Stroud
RB: K. Williams
RB: Mixon
WR: Collins
WR: Kupp
TE: Parkinson
Flex: Diggs
Flex: Ford
OP: Stafford
K: Fairbairn
D/ST: Texans

Bench

Njoku
Watson
Browns D/ST
Hopkins
Puka
Chubb
Cooper
Dell
TJ Hockenson
Jeudy
Henry
Winston
Lazard
Robinson
Legette
Higbee
Steele
Corum
Shultz
Reynolds

Total Points: 131.63 - Loss

Adds: Steele, Henry

Drops: Vele, Willis

I have been smashed with injuries, in particular the WR and TE positions. Mixon has also injured his ankle which is great and the back up Texans backs are all awful so I'll be fielding the dude in what appears to be a timeshare in Ford. Vele managed to injure himself at some point and Willis isn't going to throw over 150 yards any time soon. Henry comes back after a monster performance.

TE just sucks. None of them are consistently good save for 1 or 2 of them. I jsut keep throwing Andrews out there for my 3-5 points a week.

I don't know what to do with an injured Mixon either. Houston could conceivably split his work between 3 guys: Ogunbowale, Pierce, and Akers. But Pierce is questionable too. Ogunbowale is a 3rd down RB. Do they trust Akers? I don't know.   I have Ekeler on the bench. A lot of options on waivers: Javonte Williams, Samaje Perine, D'Onta Foreman, Jaylen Warren, Jaleel McLoughlin, Mattison, Charbonnet... No clear answer here.

It's the worst position in fantasy football. It's like throwing a dart at the board every week

Is Walker out this week again? You may luck out with Charbonnet against the Dolphins who have been bad. They allowed 4.9 yards per rush and a TD in week 1 and 4.2 yards per rush (Cook had 7.1) and 3 total TD's to cook. If you can get 50 yards, a couple receptions and a TD from Charbonnet that's a great result.

Otherwise Perine is a huge risk reward option. I'm thinking back to the time he stepped in for the Bengals and was a monster, although it was a couple years back. Foreman is also splitting carries but Ford will get the redzone looks. He has bust potential

I'm starting Pollard over Mixon this week and hoping for the best

I don't know. Walker is Questionable. He did not practice yesterday but he was spotted on the sidelines. Charbonnet is a good sub if Walker is out again.

Week 3

League 1 - 10 team standard

QB: Mahomes
RB: Hall
RB: K. Williams
WR: Adams
WR: Aiyuk
TE: Kincaid
Flex: Williams
K: Koo
D/ST: Seahawks

Bench

D. Johnson
Moss
Chubb
Likely
Coleman
Johnston
Diggs

IR: Hockenson

Total Points: 98.38 - Win

Add: Jennings, Steelers

Drop: Coleman, Seahawks

I actually won in this league and completely screwed up my flex starting Williams for a monster 0.2 points. Jennings was available on waivers and the Seahawks have a bad matchup this week so I figured I'd try and score a D on waivers. Steelers I think can feast on Richardson attempting to throw the ball and are my pick. Someone dropped Andrews and I currently have a claim in for him. I plan on dropping Johnston who has scored the last two games but has a gimpy QB in Herbert. I'll see if it goes through. This week I plan on starting Moss at the flex and I'm tossing up which two of Adams, Aiyuk, Jennings, Diggs and Johnson to start at WR. I am leaning towards Adams in a bounce back and Aiyuk finally has to get back on track. I know this is the position that is going to drive me nuts all year.

League 2 - 12 team PPR, 6 point Passing TD's (WU League)

QB: Mahomes
RB: K. Williams
RB: Conner
WR: Shaheed
WR: Godwin
TE: Freiermuth
Flex: Moss
Flex: Aiyuk
D/ST: Seahawks

Bench

AJ Brown
C Watson
D. Hopkins
Hockenson
Dowdle
Tyler Johnson
Perine

Total Points: 120.58 - Loss

Add: Darnold, Vikings

Drop: Tyler Johnson, Seahawks.

I lost by about 13 points with the goose egg from Shaheed. The second flex is a bit of a tricky spot and I haven't really nailed it so far this year leaving points on the bench. Hopefully Brown can return this week and that helps me out. I grabbed Darnold since he is currently QB 2 and looks like a good insurance policy if the bounce back continues. I also went with the Vikings D as Flores has them killing teams at the moment. If Love misses this week I like their chances of destroying Willis.

League 3 - 12 team PPR (Elimination League)

QB: Jackson
RB: K. Williams
RB: Charbonnet
WR: Aiyuk
WR: Godwin
TE: Kincaid
Flex: Chase
K: Santos
D/ST: Steelers

Bench

K. Allen
McConkey
Meyers
Z. Moss
Purdy
Pacheco
Goedert

IR: Hockenson

Total Points: 169.28 - Win

Adds: Hill, Butker

Drops: McConkey, Santos

Grabbing Charbonnet was a great move, he went off and filled in nicely for the injured Pacheco. I also had Goedert sitting on my bench along with Moss and they both had great games (so did Myers and Purdy). Hill was one of the dropped players this week so I have grabbed him. With the QB situation he is a risky play but I may start him as my flex. Charbonnet goes to the bench, the Lions D is legit and Walker could be back this week. Moss comes on.

League 4 - 10 person team league, TD Bonus (Hunt's league)

QB: Stroud
RB: K. Williams
RB: Ford
WR: Collins
WR: Diggs
TE: Henry
Flex: Cooper
Flex: Reynolds
OP: Stafford
K: Fairbairn
D/ST: Texans

Bench

Mixon
Njoku
Watson
Kupp
Browns D/ST
Hopkins
Puka
Chubb
Dell
Parkinson
TJ Hockenson
Jeudy
Winston
Lazard
Robinson
Legette
Higbee
Steele
Corum
Shultz

Total Points: 143.86 - Loss

Adds: Atwell

Drops: Legette

This team has been destroyed by injury and the Texan underperforming basically sunk any hope. Mixon looks like he is going to miss again, Ford will be my starting RB which is gross. Dell, Atwell or Steele will probably be my second flex

I grabbed Cam Akers off waivers to handcuff Mixon. It's not ideal, but at least it's a favorable matchup against the Jags.

Mixon is out, I wouldn't trust Akers to produce. I read they may even give Dare a ton more snaps.

I squeaked out another win thanks to Koo outscoring Mahomes and Hall combined. I think it might be time to bench Mahomes so I went after Fields. Downside is I missed out on Wicks who looks to be a good option at WR. I will bench Moss vs the Ravens and start Johnson at the flex and give Hall one more shot at RB.

Drop: Perine, Watson

I almost lost this game with my opponent having Swift and Johnson on field. Watson is injured again and hasn't looked great regardless, I feel like he may have been a flash in the pan guy in year one but isn't really someone you want to start each week. I am happy to take the risk with McCloud as a potential second flex starter some weeks. He is seeing some heavy target numbers with 7, 5, 3 and 7 targets in the 4 games. He may be a nice floor guy in PPR when the buys hit in that second flex spot. I still can't trust Dowdle yet I thought I might get creative with that pick. Fields has a good fantasy floor and is a starter over Mahomes this week. Darnold has the Jets so I might play the matchup.

Drops: Steele and Hopkins

My team is an injured trash heap. Cutting Legette for Atwell was a bad move. I should have picked up Ogunbowale to play last week but thought I would take the chance on Steele. McCloud is a deep bench option with upside like above with my other team.
