See if you can get Justin Fields vs. Cowboys or Geno Smith vs. Giants. Don't drop Mahomes, but he is going to be a week-to-week matchup play at this point. I saw Fields is available in my league. But I don't want to drop Darnold yet, either. Should I keep 3 QBs on my roster for now?

I have all three of Darnold, Mahomes and Fields. Just picked up Fields and will probably start him this week out of the three.

(Musgrave had 2.8 points) TEs this year man...... yeah...laporta wound up playing so i didn't have to pick up any of those te's....but laporta wasn't very good either. and now he's on bye so i had to pick up dalton schultz

October 3, 20241 yr thursday night game is kinda screwing me this week. i don't know if mixon is playing this week...and my best option if he doesn't is bucky irving who plays tonite.

Mixon was a game-time decision last week. But he didn't practice on Wednesday either. It is tough to tell whether he is going to play on Sunday. Normally I'd say take the sure points and play Bucky Irving so you can punt on the Mixon decision until Sunday. But Buffalo was gashed in the running game last week so you really want Mixon if he starts. Gut decision, but if you wait on Mixon make sure you have an insurance plan in place.

October 4, 20241 yr Oh, and in DFS I made Robinson my MVP in the my showdown. Facebook seems to know and decided to troll me:
October 5, 20241 yr Ok, my weekly DFS question: Jordan Mason, DK and Antonio Gibson (Gibson is getting the start against Miami) or Kyren Williams, Tee Higgins and Michael Pittman (If you like Williams over Mason, I could swap him out for Mason in the top option. Call it option C)
October 6, 20241 yr I am a huge Williams fan but I think Mason has the better matchup. Other than week 1 when Barkley tore them apart, the Packers have done a decent job defending the run. Taylor had good YPC but both Titans backs were non existent and Jones had 20+ carries for 90 odd yards and no TD's. ESPN says they conceded 35, 18, 16 and 20 points in PPR scoring to backs this season. The Packers have also been banged up at CB so teams have been throwing pretty well against them. The Rams don't really have any WR's so that will be interesting and if the Packers can get a lead the game script may not be great for Williams. I'd say he still ends up with 80 to 100 total yards and a TD, but I don't know if the ceiling is there this week. The Cards have been horrible against the run in 3 of 4 games this year. ESPN credits them with 91 yards and 17 points against the Bills week 1, but Allen had like 6 carries and 2 TD's which aren't included in that. They held Williams in check and then gave up 188 yards, 1 TD and 37.5 points vs the Lions and 169 yards, 3 TD's and 40.7 points vs Washington which doesn't include Daniels 50 odd yards and a TD. The game could be a shootout, but with how bad Arizona has been defending the run I think I'd take the higher upside play in Mason. DK should have a good week against the Giants, I don't know if I like Gibson at all, even if he is starting, he isn't really going to do much with the Pats. Pittman should be a decent option this week with Flacco starting, is there a way you can get him in over Gibson?
October 6, 20241 yr I need to start one of Cook or Hall and start 2 of Kincaid, McBride and Bowers. Who do I bench? I am leaning towards Hall and Bowers.

At that price point I could get Jordan Whittington, Keon Coleman (considered it, higher ceiling lower floor), Dalton Shults, Alec Pierce, Mingo, Tucker Kraft (TE, gross!), Mack hollis, Gesicki, Miles Sanders, Hunter Henry and Ty Johnson (and worse). If I switch out Mason for Williams that frees up some cash. So I could go Ray Davis, Raheem Mostert, Cortland Sutton, Isaiah Likely, Ondunze, Zeke, Rashad Bateman, Tutu Atwell, Andrei Iosivas, Demarcus Robinson, and Jeremy McNichols.

Cook vs Hall is tough. No way Hall repeats last week right? I'm all in on Kincaid, both this season (meh) and this week with Shakir out. As for McBride vs Bowers, I'm leaning toward Bowers. Better matchup, he is healthy and a LOT of people are out for Vegas. No Adams, No White (whatever), and backup TE Mayer is out too.

Pierce is the boom or bust option. He could get you 100 yards and 2 TD's or nothing. With Shakir out, Coleman may be worth the shot. I think Kincaid and Cook get the bulk of the extra touches. Mingo is meh and I wouldn't bother. Whittington is tempting, especially if he gets 8 to 10 targets and Alexander is out again for the Packers or he gets their backup. I am surprised Williams costs you less, I think I prefer a combo of Williams and Sutton to Gibson and Mason. Sutton will get a high volume and the Raiders suck pretty bad.

You would think so, but Hall has been complete crap in YPC and hasn't cracked 65 yards all season. He is starting to lose work to the rookie who has been a more effective runner which is also a worry and Minnesota have been the 3rd hardest matchup for running backs so far this year. I originally traded him out, but with Taylor injured I swapped it and brought him back. I am wondering if it is even worth it and maybe I trade him back out and get rid of Taylor next week since Hall will change in price and Taylor won't change. I was tossing up Henry and Kyren as the player to trade in and went Henry since he is cheaper. I've also been all in on Kincaid. I saw the McBride ribs news but also saw he would play. The Denver D has been pretty great this year and I can see them causing Minshew a lot of problems. San Fran have been pretty stout as well in most games so neither have great matchups.

Hmm, I do like Sutton this week. I could live with Williams-Sutton. This was my thinking with Gibson. When Stevenson starts, he plays 75% of the snaps when the Pats start or are tied. And they are favored. So that MIGHT translate some to Gibson?

I'm picking the Dolphins to win that game (my pick em has been awful this year though). I think Achane goes off and has a huge game. Gibson will probably have 4 or 5 catches which will give him an okay floor, but he isn't a great runner and I don't think he has a nose for the endzone. They said Stevenson has been benched due to the fumbling, but there is every chance he still gets carries and could be the guy down the stretch in that game. The irony in this decision, Gibson had fumbling issues in Washington that ultimately lost him the starting role. Plus what role does Hasty play? Does he get carries? Does he get the goal line touches if Stevenson is glued to the bench?
October 8, 20241 yr I started Mahomes over Darnold. I didn't pick up another QB because I needed a third TE since Goedert and LaPorta were both on a bye. Mahomes had the bigger day, since Darnold got hurt, but Mahomes only got me 13 points. He is a fantasy dud.
