Depending on how high it is and what's underneath, she might've survived the fall. There are some crazy stories of people surviving falls you'd think would easily be fatal. But even so, had she jumped, she definitely would've been injured pretty bad so still an amazing thing he did for her.

Van Halen sucks in general.  Very few bands are more (unintentionally) corney.  (Extreme comes to mind)  Which is a shame given how talented Eddie is.

I'll go even further and give my own unpopular opinion, they sound better with Sammy, David Lee Roth is terrible. And I'm not saying this because I think Hager is very good, I just think DLR is that horrible. Corny is the perfect description IMO. Even growing up they sounded like a parody of a rock and roll band to me.

I've mentioned this before, but it wasn't until I was an adult I realized Spinal Tap was a parody band from a mockumentary.    

 

I'm not saying I heard Spinal Tap songs and formed an opinion of them, rather, I knew of them from the Simpsons and thought "oh, some s***y british band is guest starring" and moved on. It wasn't until years later I found out about This is Spinal Tap and rented it from Netflix.

that's their worst album IMO. commercial crap beyond drop dead legs. to me they jumped the shark with diver down. also, both you and booger are insane thinking hager was better. he sucked with montrose, he sucked on his own and sucked with van halen.

I always knew Spinal Tap was a parody, and as a kid I also though Van Halen might be the same type of thing just more popular.

I agree Sammy sucked. I also agree he's better than DLR.  For me it's like arguing who is worse, the Giants or Panthers.

Now you guys have me going back to my VH days.  Senior week was non stop VH1 in the 8 track.   I didn't like DLR at all but loved Eddie.  Then,  when the Red rocker came along, he's one of faves of all time.  They made a great team.  It's not everyday you can pair their music with a video, so here you go:
