I'm voting no because the Mayor supports the project.  However, the councilman for the district needs to introduce the legislation - so this is no slam dunk by any stretch of the matter.

IS THIS... NUANCED? - Meme Generator

They’ll end up staying in South Philly

No.

I hope so.

I'm not going to lie..... This is the site they will use and I kinda wish CBP had this view

Literally anywhere would be better than center city philly.  They can put it in Chester right next to Subaru park for all I care. I'd rather go there than try to see a game in center city.

Honestly, that is pretty f'ing bad ass.......but I do not see parking in the rendering.......guess you are going to have to park in the gangland area?  And if they were smart, they would have massive parking along the Philadelphia side and run free high speed ferries across the Delaware to the game/stadium.  I mean I live in Central Jersey now but when I lived in Center City, I would have loved to go down to Old City, hang out and then hop on a ferry to go across the Delaware to the game.

And to add, not unprecedented...the NY Jets and NY Giants play in the Meadowlands so.....the Philadelphia 76'ers may very well be playing in Camden.

There are a ton of parking lots down by the river for the various tourist attractions (concert venue, aquarium, Battleship New Jersey, etc. )

What's with the parkland along the river?  Do they really plan on having a pier that goes almost halfway across the river to Pennsylvania?  Is that a slope into the river so you can go swimming in that disgusting water?

It's the boat launch so it can look like the baseball stadium where they catch home runs hit in to the water.

That's smart planning for a team who never shoots well. There will be basketballs in that water.

The pier/boat ramp is a bit of a fixer upper lol
