Posted September 13, 20241 yr I see he suffered another concussion last night. I kind of think this kid should seriously consider retirement for his future and long term health. At 26, it's easy and typical to only see what's directly in front of you and not see the bigger picture of life. Especially with how much money could be at stake for him. But 'brain health' is far more important and I think he really needs to contemplate doing what Andrew Luck did and walk away with as much of his health intact as he can.
September 13, 20241 yr Hmmmmm might the Birds trade Kenny Small Hands to Miami for.........a 3rd rounder?? 😆

I don't know what his mindset is, but being 26, its easy to only see what's immediately in front of him and not look 25 or 30 years down the road. But it's the 25 or 30 years down the road where he'd likely suffer the consequences of a bad decision made right now. Retiring now would (hopefully) save his future self from a lot of potentially serious health problems.

September 16, 20241 yr I wouldn't consider it because I like Hurts, but would it be crazy to think Howey reaches out in the offseason to check their interest in a trade. I think some eagles fans would welcome it

Who takes his place?

I’m sure he’s made enough money to comfortably retire or at the very least be comfortable whilst he figures out what to do next.

Who takes his place? Possibly a one year stop gap with Pickett, then get someone in the draft. Again, I am not for it, but Howey is always wheeling and dealing. I also don't know the cap hit, I haven't checked over the cap for the numbers
