I’ll take the TD, but I’m still amazed how that play wasn’t a flag. Smitty fumbled the ball, so why wasn’t it ruled a fumble if the Saints recovered the football????

I’ve been critical of Hurts, but can’t blame him on that play. Smith was obviously the first read, and he was open so he threw it. Obviously if the first read is open and he pulls the trigger he isn’t looking at his second read yet.

Who cares. Obviously it wasn't enough for Saints to challenge with the extended period of time they had to look at it.
