Senior 6'6 247 lbs.  2024 season through 3 games - 9 catches 88 yds. 

Had a break out year in 2022 with 28 catches for 398 yds and 4 TDs. 

2023 - only 10 catches for 131 yds but missed most of the year with an ankle injury. 

2024 Honors – – Athlon preseason second-team All-Big Ten… Phil Steele preseason fourth-team All-Big Ten… named to John Mackey Award and Comeback Player of the Year Award Watch Lists… one of eight seniors named to 2024 Player Council… 2024 – – Started at tight end in first three games, marking his 16th career start… has nine catches for 88 yards (9.8 yards per catch avg.) with a long reception of 19 yards on the season… led team with six receptions for 63 yards, including a long catch of 19 yards, in season-opening 40-0 shutout of Illinois State… caught three passes for 25 yards (long of 13 yards) in 38-21 win over Troy.

Tough watching the Iowa offense to see a handful of Lachey plays.
