Based on Sunday I'm not that worried, for once we seem to have actual genuine depth on the O Line this year, if the right side of the line is Steen and Fred Johnson I'm OK with that against a team that just lost to the 2024 Denver Broncos.
September 25, 20241 yr Luckily RG was probably our best depth, as Steen very plausibly would be our starter anyway had he not gotten injured
September 26, 20241 yr Any news so far? I’ve not seen any yet. It looked like he was being readied to go back in on Sunday though? But then I think Steen was playing well so they decided it wasn’t a necessary risk.
September 26, 20241 yr Being reported he tore a ligament in one of his fingers but that he will wear a cast and be able to play Sunday against TB. https://www.kpvi.com/eagles-og-mekhi-becton-to-play-with-cast-on-injured-finger-vs-bucs/article_7f16f50e-1da5-5edd-83a8-49b9be326464.html

Given we don’t know if Lane will be good to go.

September 26, 20241 yr Interesting,, I know steen played well Sunday and I didn’t think the guy was ever that bad but I know there were a lot of comments that wow steen couldn’t even win the job he sucks what a waste of a pick blah blah..

They both played amazing. I was more concerned about Fred at RT as we really saw nothing from him, and I'd give him an easy A+ for coming on with zero hope that he would ever play. And NO front 7 are no slouches

And NO front 7 are no slouches I didn’t say or suggest they weren’t amazing. What I said was… I think Steen at RG is a better player than Fred at RT. And therefore I’d consider moving Becton to RT with Steen at RG. That’s all I said. They were both brilliant last week against a pretty good DL… But coming in with a lot of adrenaline and in a tough situation can be very different to coming in after a week of prep (from both us and our opponents). Realistically do I think either would play at that same high level this week? No. They might do but I don’t expect it. There’s a reason Fred has bounced around the league and Steen lost the RG spot to a converted RG.
