Say what you want about Sirianni but it's the players as well. He isn't on the feild pushing guys into the PR or holding a WR on 3rd and 14 or one of the many other bone headed things they are doing. He can drill it into them all day long but if the players are stupid and bad they will do stupid and bad things.

I agree to a point, but they reflect that leadership..they are a reflection of siriani and his philosophy of how to play..

This is right.  if it was one or 2 guys screwing up I may not put that on sirianni, but it's not it's the whole darn team.  To me that is an absolute reflection on sirianni.  the players may say they love him but there play is way more of an indicator on him than what they say.

Most of Lurie’s net worth is tied up in the Eagles ownership. We have no way of knowing what his estate plan is, but his son may have to sell the team or at least a portion of it just to pay the estate tax. That’s one reason why the Redskins had to sell to Daniel Synder.

he wouldn't have to sell everything just a stake, at worst.  weren't there already reports lurie was looking to do that this year?

I didn’t hear that but I’m sure it’s possible.

At this point if Hurts plays like a$$ in two weeks bench him. The experiment is over.

Not for what, 2 years at least? Then Hurts would have to agree to a trade. Nope, he's here for a while.

This team should beat teams like Atlanta and TB. Even though we weren’t healthy for TB, we shouldn’t have lost that badly. Our 4 man front is overmatched and Hurts is regressing weekly. Our defensive scheme is antiquated and our players are suffering under it. Our coaching is the worst in the league imo. How do you not teach players how to tackle or a QB how to read a defense?
It gets much harder from here on out if you continue with clown coaching and a QB who will never understand the position as a pocket passer.

The NFL is full of parity now. Most game results come down to coaching and a few lucky breaks. Thats why you get weird unexpected results everyweek. Its what Vegas wants and its great for them. Thats why im not too worked up. The rest of the schedule looks like they should go 12-1 without even trying really hard. But then again it all comes down to luck and injuries and coaching.

If it's a trade I think you can consider that anytime. but Pickett or the ackee better be the guy.  because you won't be able to spend a lot of money on qb for at least a year or 2.

Here’s another example of why Nick needs to go. You’re on the road, you’re without your top two offensive weapons, you’re gonna have a tough time, scoring points and sustaining drives, and you elect to defer the kickoff to the second half when you win the toss. The smart move would happen to take the opening kick off and at least try to chew some clock feeding Saquon. Then you’re not falling behind and having to catch up in a game where you don’t have any weapon weapons on offense. Once again, the boy, Fing genius out Fing coached himself.#FireNickI’mDoneWithHisStupidFingAss.

I’m just curious… When the Eagles scored in the beginning of the second half was there anyone actually surprised the defense went and allowed the Bucs to march right down the field and score?

that's a bit of a stretch.  there are plenty of reasons to want to get rid of sirianni that's probably pretty low on the list

That’s why I said it’s just another example. One of many. He’s has cost us at least two games this season already.

Teams defer all the time i don’t think that decision is a bad one considering baker had never scored on an opening drive for tampa.

I know the rumors..but dude needs to get out…trade this guy back or somewhere else..what a waste…

Sounds like both players might do better going back to their respective teams.

TB kicks the E-girls arse again.

I mean, the last 2 times we played them we were banged up, and or not playing well. We beat them pretty soundly earlier in the season last year 25-11. So, I know they can beat the Bucs, but we played them 2 times in a row without AJ, now no Smitty, or Lane.

I think fans are overreacting. It's still early and we are missing key guys, so the loss wasn't a shock at all.

I’d be for it… although I think actually is that a waste of cap space? Because this season isn’t going to become a success just by adding Reddick.

Agreed. I have serious doubts for this season.

But the point is you’re without your best weapons and pts are going to be hard to come by so you want the ball as much as possible especially early to build a lead.  What was more likely - Eagles get out to a 14-0 lead and defense holds? Or Eagles come from behind 24-0 without their top offensive weapons?  It was a stupid decision and another stupid game plan.  Nick has more influence than he lets on and he’s a moron.  He’s gotta go.

Oh mate me too! I think the only "positive” is that I don’t think there are any top top teams. But all that means is we have a chance to go to the playoffs, win a game and keep Sirianni.

Howie would also have to find someone who would take Jalen's contract. His contract isn't bad by recent standards but he's wouldn't be on the trade block because he was playing like a world beater. He'll have good games in the future but elite? Maybe but he'll have to improve a LOT.

Taking possession first wouldn’t have made much of a difference, the D got gashed and gave up 21 points in one quarter, it was disgusting to watch. No wonder Miami was happy to get rid of Fangio.
