GDT: Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 9-29-24, 1PM EST

Featured Replies

Watched the whole game, for some reason I am not as concerned as I was with the Atlanta game.

Players looked like they just couldn't handle the heat, temperature, wonder if pickle juice would have helped. If this game was played in Philly, I feel we would blow the BUCS away without Brown & Smith. Need to clean up on the tackling and turnovers, the bye week will do a lot of good, players looked exhausted as hell.

If we lose after the BYE week then would be time to panic, for now I wouldnt stress too much over this loss.

Hopefully Eagles get to play the BUCs in Philly during the playoffs and smash them, so that ugly smirk on Bowles face can be wiped off...

What part of what you saw makes you think we’d have blown them out at homeof? Without AJ and Smitty? I mean that literally makes no sense. Our defense sucks and our offense had very little outside of Barkley.

Taking possession first wouldn’t have made much of a difference, the D got gashed and gave up 21 points in one quarter, it was disgusting to watch. No wonder Miami was happy to get rid of Fangio.

I think it would have made a difference.  You can’t chase pts the entire game especially when you don’t have your two best weapons.  We don’t even know if the game plan was to run the ball because if it was, they wouldn’t have been able to because they fell down early.  This was a game they needed to take the ball first and eat the clock and win 17-10.  Instead they fall behind and there’s no chance they win a shootout game.  The defense was not prepared either.  The coaching was bad overall.

Not for what, 2 years at least? Then Hurts would have to agree to a trade. Nope, he's here for a while.

You can still bench him. I don’t care what he’s getting paid.

You can but I’m not sure he’s yet playing quite bad enough to be benched. And I’m not defending him but the back up options are also bad.

Here’s another example of why Nick needs to go. You’re on the road, you’re without your top two offensive weapons, you’re gonna have a tough time, scoring points and sustaining drives, and you elect to defer the kickoff to the second half when you win the toss. The smart move would happen to take the opening kick off and at least try to chew some clock feeding Saquon. Then you’re not falling behind and having to catch up in a game where you don’t have any weapon weapons on offense. Once again, the boy, Fing genius out Fing coached himself.#FireNickI’mDoneWithHisStupidFingAss.

100%…no starting wr, you got a stud rb and the Oline to provide great running..but he calls pass after pass…Barkley had what, 10 rush attempts maybe 12?

god forbid we play smart by running the ball with no receivers and keeping their offense off the field…wow..that woulda been smart…

siriani is too cute with his playcalling ,he thinks he’s outsmarting someone but he’s not..stupid don’t know he’s stupid…

At this point can they really be worse? Pickett is a carbon copy so I’d go with McKee and just see what he can do. If he stinks it up then they get a high draft pick and use it on a qb.

Problem is they have far greater issues than just QB.

My God, that was a pathetic display of football.  All 3 phases.  Ringo AND Rodgers running into Dejean is just astonishingly bad coaching and careless, overall.  Siri is a clown.  Straight up.  Where was the defense that showed up last week?  The D looked uninterested and played with ZERO passion.  Dean missed about 100 tackles.  The tackling, overall, was a joke.  Maddox diving at Godwin (?) with his head down?!  Jesus Christ, man.  How can defensive professional football players be SO horrific at tackling?!  It's mind blowing.  I've always been a Hurts supporter but he's a major liability.  He is sucking ass right now with all of his boneheaded turnovers.  And where are the designed offensive pass plays?!  It's always Hurts dropping back, taking FOREVER to go through his progressions and then just improvising.  Are we the only team that is incapable of throwing slants?!  FFS, I can't even deal with this lazy ass team.  We suck right now.  🥵😡

Qb is the most important position on the field. Right that ship and maybe some of the other issues disappear. Brady never had the best of weapons outside of Moss and yet he made stars out of guys that most teams had given up on.

A competent QB would look like a really good one most weeks in this team. Good OL, elite weapons (when healthy) and a great RB. But they need to start thinking about replacing Lane. And their defense needs major surgery in all areas.

If only the defense would learn how to tackle.

I mean at this point with this sample size that just isn’t going to happen.

TB was beating the Iggles arse all game, but yet they still threw the ball almost 50 times. 😜

It’s more of an overarching ineptitude that bothers me.  He is managing the game and the practices and knowing you don’t have much of an offense the game plan should have been to hold onto the ball and run it as much as possible.  Keep the bucs offense off the field and win a close game.  Instead the wonder kid put us behind 24-0 with his idiocy!  He said it…it starts with him.  Well if that’s true, then we should be holding him accountable and I for one am.  And if I’m Lurie, I hold him accountable and I fire his dumb ass tomorrow.

Some of you need to take it easy on Hurts. Other than running on every down himself, his only real options are Goedert and Barkley. You shut down those to guys and there isn't much help.

Commanders win 42 to 14. Meanwhile this team can barely beat anyone.

Time for Tanner McKee!!!

I can’t believe it, but how is this team going to beat the Commanders?

They won’t..realistically..we may not be second in that division…sad and frustrating

Don’t know. They love their puppets though. Howie is as much to blame as Sirianni.

Ding Ding Ding Winner!
