Kirk Cousin is a proven player if you compare him to Mayfield, who is having a fluke run and nothing more.

Falcons also had a legit run game and is an overall better team than Bucs, Eagles were 1 dropped catch away from winning that.

Be it Cleveland or Be it in Tampa Bay, Baker Mayfield is trash, and trash still stinks wherever you are, no way this phony beats the Eagles had the game been in Philly.

Well Mayfields fluke run has gone on as long as Hurts constant turnover issues. So for the last 12 months I’d take him over our QB1.

Any QB could beat this defense right now. And with the injuries we have on offense we can’t keep pace. Without AJ, Smitty and Lane I’m not sure we beat many teams.

Agreed we don't beat many teams without our superstars, but we beat this Tampa team if played in Philly without issues... Tampa won due to the weather...

We really don’t. Tampa right now is a decent team. We right now without the 3 guys we keep mentioning are not.

They also haven't convincingly beat anyone yet and won a couple of games with controversial calls at the end (bengals/falcons).  Mahomes has 6 TD's and 5 INTs on the year, but they're 4-0 so no one's overcriticizing his play.  With your logic, right now Mahomes isn't a good QB either.

Do you want to compare the career of Mahomes vs the career of Hurts? This is ridiculous really. What about the fumbles? Are they similar as well? I’d be happy to not worry about Jalen Hurts if he had the resume of Pat Mahomes. I’ll add compare Jalen’s assortment of weapons compared to Mahomes and switch these players. In you honest opinion do you believe that Mahomes puts up the same numbers Jalen has? Do you believe Jalen matches Mahomes numbers with those guys?

The point I made, which was pretty obvious, is that Mahomes' poor play this season is being overlooked because the Chiefs happen to be 4-0.   If they were 0-4, I can guarantee you everyone would be criticizing him and saying he needs to play better. 3 SB wins or not, analysts wouldn't simply brush off his turnovers and say "he's earned the right to suck" and cost his team wins.

Jalen has been struggling with a team loaded with talent. Bottom line Jalen Hurts is an average quarterback playing with elite talent. Mahomes is an elite quarterback playing with average talent. Tell me how many of those Chiefs players you would take over Eagles players on offense. Please, name all the elite talent Hurts has had over the course of 5 seasons that's not Brown and Smith. The only player you can name is Barkley, and he's been here a total of 4 games, so he doesn't really count yet. AJ hasn't played since week 1, and Smith was out last week. 

Also, your argument was that Mahomes has won and been consistently successful with just average talent, which is bogus.  I don't care how much elite talent you have on offense, you need a solid defense to win.  I'm certain if you put Mahomes on this team he isn't winning any SB's with the defense we have.  Sure, Patrick would throw for more TD's than Jalen would here, but it's not like Jalen can't throw for more TD's, he simply gets a lot of 1 yard rushing TDs which are just as effective in my book.

In fact, Burrow outplayed him, but still lost because wins aren't determined solely on QB play.  Hurts threw for 278 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs vs the packers in a win, but all you saw around here was "hurts has to stop turning it over" "Wentz 2.0" "Put in McKee!" our fans are trash.

I don’t care about Mahomes, but comparing a guy whose team came off the SB last year to a guy whose team is 3-8 over his last eleven makes no sense. Trying to sample size Mahomes career as a whole over four games makes no sense. I’ll ask you again what is Jalen Hurts doing that is good right now? The response is Mahomes is doing it too is not an answer. Heck Geno Smith is playing better than Mahomes right now so does that mean he’s better? Only in the mind of a fool.

Jalen Hurts is the sole reason the offense sucks. I'm not sure how that is even debatable anymore. No one on the offense is under performing. Just him.

Read his  college scouting report. Its verbatim what we have seen in the games and we are now 5 years in. 

He can't read defenses, slow release. Not seeing open WR's. Refuses to throw over the middle. Doesn't go through  his progressions,  constantly bails out of clean pockets.. ...Then the constant nonstop turnovers and lack of game sense. 

His one big strength isn't even there anymore. Dude runes like hes stuck in mud.  His arm strength is average at best  Leadership wise he has personality of a rock.

At this point he's not even average. A average QB can be elevated by Elite talent around him.  Only a below average QB could make  a offense this talented look  like a dysfunctional  mess like he has.

 

I hope he proves me wrong. But I don't see how these bad habits will magically disappear

unfortunately i think you are 100% correct.

At the moment i think he's one of the worst QBs in the league. Hopefully he'll improve but i'm not gonna hold my breath
