Bro is an absolute game wrecker tonight against Illinois. Can line up on the edge, drop back into coverage or as a LB,

6'3 259 lbs.

2023 • SOPHOMORE SEASON

Awards: Postseason: Earned first-team All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and second-team from the media...Tabbed second-team All-American by Sports Illustrated...Named Penn State's Keystone Award winner on defense along with Kevin Winston Jr.  Preseason: Named to the Bednarik Award, Butkus Award, Lombardi Award, Lott IMPACT Trophy and Nagurski Award watch lists...Earned PFF All-American honorable mention recognition.

Season: Started all 13 games...Made 48 tackles (25 solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, five pass breakups and five quarterback hurries...Named the coaching staff's Defensive Player of the Game (Maryland, 11/4).

Gonna be gone way before our pick

Likely won’t make it to us either.

Him too.

Maybe

Probably there.

Doubt it

I don't think Carter is 6-3 or 259 lbs. I bet he barely clears 6-2 and is under 245 lbs.

Saw where Carter would really like to play for Philly but don’t see us being able to get anywhere near top 7 to pick him

Nolan Smith has really looked good the last 2 months. If we do end up re-signing Sweat, we may not have to go all out for a DE

Nolan’s fine, but Sweaty has been a bit quiet the last 2 months. I wouldn’t want to commit to a multi-year contract and will he play ball after taking a haircut last offseason.

Sweat has 8 regular season sacks and another 2.5 so far in the post season, plus he's our only experienced pass rusher once BG hangs them up.

He averages 7 sacks a season and is still only 27, I don't see how you let him walk out of the building with Graham and leave your most experienced DE a rotational free agent bust.

Josh had 6 sacks during the first 8 games and hasn't had one since PIT -  while 27, I think his knees are bad and he has a tendency to wear down.  If he accepts DE3 money, sure, but I think that is more likely to come from a ring chasing vet who is fine with a limited role and salary.

Later on.

It's hilarious to see the replies to him telling him to tank his draft

And yet he still led the team in sacks. Has yet to miss a game because of his knee . I dont understand the constant fear of his knee...

Again!!

He’s going to be long gone by the time we are on the board. But… Nice to dream.

We just might have to wait 5 years until he comes home.

All part of the plan for him to tank to #32.
