I would acquire as many picks as possible.  In the off season try and trade Hurts, maybe to Miami for a 1 

And I would trade down a few times in April to add more picks maybe 13-15 total.  I'd draft 3 DEs 3 DTs 2 LBs a S the rest on offense

We have already spent more than a full year's salary cap of future dollars so we need to rebuild with cheap talent and pay down that debt over the next few years.

All new aggressive defensive scheme utilizing press corners blitzing in a 4-3 alignment

I'm all for firing Sirianni and trading Hurts. Maybe some other guys too. Don't care.

We're not the best drafting team / evaluators of talent.

this is the only part i do not agree with. he just got here, hes only 25 and he's got experience at every position except center and hes been getting good reviews from Coach Stout. 

I think we should be able to slide him to RT when Lane retires. 

Howie should stay away from the trade deadline.  He hasn't made a good deadline trade since Ajayi 7 years ago.

If we can find the money to extend him i agree. I have him on my trade list only because we are out of money to extend many players. Howie has spent around 280 mil future dollars and the team is lousy. We need 10-12 picks a year to acquire cheap talent and someone else to make the picks

I would say  go all in on D-line for a trade..But then I think how much of a waste it would be  when  the QB cant even run the offense and will need that pick to get a QB,
