They apply pressure. Other teams have just been neutralizing that with quick passes. We just need our offense to start playing their best football, build some early leads and force opponents to take more chances on offense. Not just pressure on the QB but pressure on the WR’s. They give them a 7 yard cushion. Why wouldn’t any QB want to play catch with their receiver? They play so soft.

Which I just don’t get because they have good corners so why do they need to sit so soft? This has been a thing for a long time now too.

I know i started this thread to rag on CJGJ but now that i think about it more, i wonder if the new found "swagger" we have seen this year from players like Carter and Quinyon was due to rubbing off from CJGJ. This defense really lacked that swagger and toughness last year.
