There are two sets of pilots so they can take shifts. I believe that the majority of the flight is done with AFCS so they can nap in the cockpit, and drugs.

I’m sure they have plenty to help with boredom. The internet and gadgets probably make it easier to beat boredom, but military members have had to go long periods of time doing "nothing,” for ever and we found ways to beat the boredom. I used to stand 8 hour hanger watches long before the internet or gadgets. I would count windows in the hanger doors to pass the time.

Yeah basically when you go through basic training and all of that stuff you’re trained for the worst environment imaginable including a 17 hour flight to drop a giant P shaped bomb in a country the president can’t spell or pronounce.
