Hey Genius. I guess you know more than Israel. Talk about dumb.

"Israeli officials said they believed Iran’s heavily-fortified nuclear site at Fordow sustained serious damage from the strikes but had not been completely destroyed."

Not weird at all. Markets responding to a dud of a response by Iran.

It wasn’t a dud of a response, it was a response less likely to escalate the situation with US.

A good chunk of the Democratic 21% that support Iran having the bomb post in CVON, Dave Moss being at the top of the list

If you are against the invasion of Iraq, you are clearly for Saddam Hussien having weapons of mass destruction.

How much $$ did the U.S. spend attacking Iran's nuclear plants vs. how much money did the U.S. spend supporting Iran?

I see you weren't a math major in college.

Dude we are less than 2 days in lol

To me this is a big win for Trump unless Iran has some big hidden ability to retaliate which is unlikely.

It's been a fun show but at some point we're going to remember this all happened because Trump still hasn't replaced Obama's deal. So it's all just more chaos with no payoff until that actually happens. Just like everything else Trump he will declare victory and move on to something else to wreck, because actual results are hard and he doesn't like that. We're on 70 something days and still only 1 international trade deal FFS.

OK, Iran went through its little performance theater act of "retaliating." Now we all wonder if Trump is smart enough to realize that this was a non-response that does not warrant further attack? The markets are rallying since Iran basically did nothing.

Sadly, we likely know the answer. Betting on Trump being smart is like betting on the Washington Generals.

I think he will back off but fear not as his next blunder is just hours or best case a few days away.

I would recommend not spiking the football just yet. We don't even really know how effective our attacks were overall at this point.

They could believe message sent and received or they could hit it again.

Not likely but who had bomb Iran's nuke facilities on their bingo card?

We also don't know if/when Israel stops their campaign. Iran will play dead but Israel might not let them.

Certainly something I was hoping would happen for quite some time but with Israel hitting them not us. Obviously the special bunker busting bombs needed to be used somehow so not sure how that was going to happen without US planes delivering them.

In any case, certainly not something I thought Trump was going to do at this stage.

Yeah, I don't think Israel is done yet.

Predicting the scope of Israel's brilliant attack was the hard part. Once that happened it was a no brainer Trump would try to pile on for an easy political win.

Seems to have the nose for it

Could this "attack" possibly be a way to lull the US into a false sense of security before their actual attack?

Why don't you educate us about the date that the JCPOA was set to expire

The better question is whether this attack mirrors Iran's response when Solemeini was assassinated

I doubt it with this administration. Trump would jump all over them. Too public for him to ignore.

That's part of his strategy though. I forget who said it first during his first term, but he does/says so much crazy crap that it essentially has a "bed of nails" effect. Any individual nail would hurt a politician but when you spread out the pressure over many many nails well...
