Im about 50 min from Trenton so its not far. I saw an article yesterday on NJ.com that said recreational purchases should be in NJ by April/May. Hopefully that is true. NJ already sucks enough money out of us and they owe it to us for some all natural happy trees

If it gets held up in the Senate, then the Dems need to hold the Reps feet to the fire and drive this into a wedge issue. It's so dumb that in 2022, weed is still a schedule 1 substance. But I know, I know, it's a carcinogenz!!!1!

Nope. Never thought it had a chance. 60 votes in the Senate is too big a threshold to overcome. Unless there is a supermajority in the Senate and majority in the house. Few years? How about a few decades.

Really doubt it. Only two plausible scenarios I see are it dying in the Senate, or it gets passed and Biden signs it.

Sounds like the sticking point are these equity grant programs. Sure seems like a bluff, so what Dems should do (but won't) is call them on their bluff and take those programs out to see if that's really the issue. If it was, then they get to hand Biden another bipartisan win and he can add it as a notch on his belt on the campaign trail in 2 years.
