Took a job with a financial services corp as accounting director with the plan to step into the CFO role in 4-5 years when the current one retires.  WFH and no longer have to deal with retarded tax clients, governments and NFPs.  I always loved working attest with businesses because they actually give a F.  Oh and the fact that the gov't decides to change tax law every year is a big plus.  Staying current on all that plus GASB, GAAP, FASB and GAAS is a ****.

Great news!  Congratulations!

Congrats on the new job.

Out of staters will be able to buy in NJ.

In less than a week, New Jersey adults will be able to buy recreational marijuana, but Pennsylvania and Lehigh Valley residents thinking about crossing the border and bringing it home might want to think twice. Recreational marijuana is still illegal in Pennsylvania, and those found in possession can risk fines and incarceration. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy announced Wednesday that adults age 21 and older will be able to legally purchase marijuana without a state-issued medical card, calling it a "historic step in our work to create a new cannabis industry.” By contrast, Pennsylvania is one of 19 states where the possession of a joint could garner jail time, even though a majority of residents favor legalization. Seventy percent of voters support making cannabis use legal across the state, according to a report from the Marijuana Policy Project, citing a February 2022 data from online poling company Civiqs. Below, find out more information about New Jersey’s recreational marijuana pro

I just read that Virginia will allow the Medical dispensaries to sell to the general (adult) public, starting in September as a sort of 'stop gap' until commercial dispensaries are available in 2024.

This place by me is apparently huge. A few days ago its 60 employees unionized (I assume thats not a coincidence).

I believe NJ put regulations in place to assure medical users are supplied first.

I read the dispensaries in NJ open on 4/21. Closest to me would be Deptford then Bellmawr. Super excited to be able to legally buy here soon in this god awful tax raping state

I will still probably get my stuff from where I have been, as I'm sure the prices will be ridiculously high. But it will be nice to have a source right down the road if it's needed.

Good thing you dont need a drug test….

for a job

I'm all signed up and ready to start placing orders.. I like how they have flower, flower shake, pre-rolled and vapes. I may have to grab an assortment of heavenly goodness. Im going to be like Chappelle in Half Baked and molest the green trees and stuff them down my pants. 🤓

Yeah, no plans on needing that in the immediate future. One less thing to worry about!
