Posted October 15, 2024Oct 15 I'm just speculating, but seems like Cleveland is ready to blow up the whole team. Wonder what would Garrett cost to get here. I know he got a 5 year 125m extension, but I'm not sure how that would all work out. Would he need/want a restructure to make it work. Thoughts?
October 16, 2024Oct 16 Make it happen!!! I know it won’t happen and I know there’s next to no chance but man that could transform this defense.

That said if you trade Hurts for Garrett who’s the QB? Bringing in Garrett is a win now move so you need a QB to compete with.
October 18, 2024Oct 18 3 team trade Was receives - Jahan Dotson Cle receives - Bryce Huff, CJGJ, 2024 1st rd pick, 2025 2nd rd pick Phi receives - Myles Garret, 3rd rd pick used to acquire Dotson In Howie I trust

October 19, 2024Oct 19 While having Garrett would be awesome, would he really make a real difference with this soft defensive scheme. This team has so many flaws, I’m not sure any one player would make a real difference.

Pretty much this We're not going anywhere unless we change our quarterback which we're probably at least two years away from. Making this move at this point doesn't make any sense especially when we're going to need that draft capital
November 25, 2024Nov 25 Trading for a guy like this may make sense now that BG is lost. We need a replacement.

I wonder if New Orleans would take a late pick for Chase Young? He's on a one year deal and there's no way they can extend him and they aren't going anywhere this year.

I guess I’m a little torn on it. Garrett is a top 3 DE in the NFL but two firsts that’s a must win now move.

Hurts is young and we have both AJ and Smitty locked up. We do have a roster that can win now but we also have a roster built for a few years (in theory).
