Continuity is definitely important for a position group that doesn't rotate players in and out. At least this is getting some of the backups a chance to gain more experience and improve as players themselves. I'm sure it's hard to guess an accurate timetable for a hamstring injury, but in all likelihood this will probably be just a month. So Fred will get a chance to practice with the starters and he should be prepared to play solid football for a few weeks.
